MTZ 82 front axle: photo, device, spare parts

The MTT-82 universal reliable tractor has been used for a long time and is widely used for mechanization of manual labor. The machine is indispensable for logging, road construction, construction work, for the transportation of various goods and, finally, for agriculture. It is equipped with two bridges - front and rear.

MTZ-82 front axle: device, parts

The front axle is one of the most important parts of the machine. It connects the mechanisms responsible for transmitting torque from the cardan gear to the front drive wheels and is responsible for the turns and stability of the entire vehicle, through which the motor forces from the wheels are communicated to the entire skeleton.

Producers currently offer MTZ-82 tractors to consumers both with portal and with beam PVM. In the photo, the front axle MTZ-82 is shown in a general view. On this tractor, for practical reasons, it is not hidden by decorative panels. The MTZ-82 front portal type is designed in such a way to create a high (650 mm) ground clearance, which allows to work on rows with high-growth crops. It performs important functions of obtaining the torque from the cardan drive and feeding it to the front axle of the tractor, ensures the rotation and stabilization of the wheels, which positively affects the maneuverability and controllability of the machine. In addition, it reduces the load on the transmission units, has a simple mechanism for changing the size of the track, which makes it possible to work on different widths between rows. This design has been used for a long time on tractors MTZ-80/82.

Basic Nodes

The front components of the MTZ-82 front axle are as follows:

To achieve a smooth grip and reduce noise when the unit works, the gears are made with spiral teeth. The fixing nut on the end of the cardan is also used to adjust the entire assembly.

Differential

It is self-locking at the MTZ-82 front axle, it is placed in a hull of similar halves. They contain two pairs of satellites located on the axes, two semi-axis gears, as well as pressure cups and blocks of friction discs. This unit combines the two semi-axes of the PVM with its own mechanism, preventing non-synchronous skidding of the wheels and increasing the traction power of the unit.

It is important to pay attention! The same marking number is marked on the body of the structure. When assembling a unit, it is necessary to combine these numbers on compatible parts.

To support the desired pressure in the cavities of the reducer, a breather is mounted in the case of the MTZ-82 front axle.

Airborne

It is a reducer, which increases the torque and gives it to the wheels, and also gives them the necessary direction. The basic details of the mechanism of the onboard reducer of the MTZ-82 front axle are considered pair combinations of gears located at the top and bottom of the unit. The upper pair is formed from a semi-axial gear and a short shaft gear located in the pivot tube.

At the bottom, the driving (receiving rotational movement from the shank of the above shaft) and the driven gear (attached through the flange on the wheel hub) operate. Both pairs of gears are equipped with their own lubricators, in which the volume of the lubricant recommended by the manufacturer must be constantly maintained.

The half-axes of the MTZ-82 side front axle are enclosed in cases, connected in a sliding manner with the covers of the tubular core of PVM. This method of alignment is used to increase or decrease the size of the track by simply moving the axle bodies.

The vertical shaft of the front axle MTZ-82 can be attributed to the number of original engineering solutions. Its device and installation in the onboard allow not only to transfer the rotating movement to the drive gear, but also to carry out synchronous operation of the hinges. The part is made in the form of a steel shaft, at one end of which there is a conical gear, and on the other are cut splines.

Drive mechanism: transfer case

Cardan transmission

The front axle MTZ-82 drive has two equivalent shafts and an average support. Each shaft is made as a steel pipe with hinges at the ends, in the form of forks welded to it. Special flanges, these parts are attached to the dispenser, the middle support and the main gear. The support located between the cardans transfers the rotational motion from the intermediate to the front cardan. The mechanism is placed in a cast iron body, attached to the clutch box from below. In the body of the support there is a knot with a bush and a shaft to which the cardan tubes are attached from different sides by means of fastening, and a special clutch with clutches. Adjusting the power of the torque generated by the clutch is produced by tightening the springs that clutch the clutches. This is done by a nut located on the shank of the support shaft.

Beam Bridge

If you need to strengthen the front axle of the tractor, you can either install a beam bridge on the machine, or purchase a special MTZ-82.1 model, which is equipped with reinforced PVM and wide front tires. The beam bridge is distinguished by its high strength. It is capable of carrying significant loads (up to 1,000 kg and more) of the load, which compares favorably with its portal counterpart.

Its shortcomings - limited track and not so high ground clearance - make it inappropriate to use it in carrying out many agricultural works, so machines with a reinforced bridge are more suitable for use in the municipal sector, in heavy areas in the forest management and construction sector.

Front axle MTZ-82: spare parts

More than two thirds of the details of the MTZ line of tractors are unified. That's why almost all the spare parts for MTZ-82 are available for ordinary consumers. They can be purchased in both parts stores and in the secondary market. This applies to the front axle MTZ-82, spare parts for which are sold both in the form of separate parts, and in the form of specific assemblies, among which the whole bridge assembled at the plant. For example, bridges produced both under the GUR and under the GOR.

Today, the front axles with the wheel bolts on 8 bolts with a hydraulic booster are most in demand, they are used on the most diverse models of the MTZ-82 family. This design is more modern, reliable and practical. Bridges adapted for hydro-volume control (HORU) are among the latest innovations.

Currently, such nodes are put on the machines both directly by the manufacturers and by the owners of the tractors themselves. In addition, the manufacturer began to produce sets of spare parts, using which, it is possible to remake previously manufactured PVM under the GUR for new components under the HORO. All the nodes of the MTZ82 PVM can be purchased as spare parts.

It is necessary to know that some parts are inexpedient to buy separately. It is important to purchase them in the kit. So, if one gear of the main gear fails, you will have to change the pair completely. The replacement of one leads to the rapid failure of both gears.

Today, it is possible to reinstall PVM for MTZ-82 on a MTZ-80 machine by one's own strength. To do this, it is enough to buy the appropriate set of nodes: PVM MTZ-82, a cardan drive unit, a distribution box together with a gear and a gearbox shaft.
