Mount Ai-Petri: the beauty of the height

And yet there is nothing more beautiful than the mountain Crimea. Ai-Petri is not the only beautiful place, but still it is the most beloved by tourists. The mountain range was finally formed only two million years ago. Before that, he underwent various changes.

Mount Ai-Petri has 302 underground karstic cavities. These include mines, wells and caves. Twelve of them at the moment are monuments of nature.

The average annual temperature of the mountain massif is +5.9 degrees Celsius. The coldest month is February, and the warmest month is July.

Mount Ai-Petri is rich in vegetation. Here the most diverse trees, bushes and grasses have perfectly taken root. Most of them are listed in the Red Book.

The animal world is also incredibly diverse. In ancient times people constantly hunted here, but this place was not intended for housing, as it was very dangerous.

Ai-Petri is an unforgettable place, which every person will receive a lot of emotions and impressions. I want to return here many times, because it's impossible to admire such incredible beauty. This place is both romantic and dangerous. To visit Ai-Petri means to understand the real charm of the nature of the Crimea.
