"Monopoly: Rules from a distant childhood

How wonderful to remember something from a distant childhood. Such things immerse us in that far-off world, allowing a stream of memories and emotions to capture us and entail us. One of these things is the game "Monopoly", the rules of which, of course, we forgot. It's good that they can be refreshed in memory on the page with this publication.

So, have begun. The toy "Monopoly", the rules of which are in the management of real estate, suggests the following:

- purchase of land for building;

- construction of buildings (houses and hotels) on it;

- trade with the bank and players;

- payment of taxes and fines;

- collection of profits from your buildings (when an enemy hits your property);

In this case, the victory goes to the richest and most resourceful.

The rules of "Monopoly" are such that even six people can play it. Initially, a banker is appointed, who gives each of the players 1500 rubles each. But you can not give money, then the game can be significantly delayed. After that, everyone rolls the die, and determines the sequence of each player's turn.

The main thing here is to try to buy all the land in one color sector in order to start building real estate on it. This is the "Monopoly". The rules for this are calculated so that, by investing more, they receive corresponding profits. But you can also incur a loss, falling on various fines, taxes, natural disasters or even in prison. This is the beauty of this rule. "Monopoly" is a realistic game, albeit a desktop game. It maximizes life, allowing the player to be in the role of real estate manager of some solid company.

With each transition through the start, each of the participants receives a long-awaited salary of 1500 rubles. In the process of moving through the field, you will come across surprises in the cards "chance" and "public treasury", which significantly embellishes the game, making it even more interesting.

The player must collect as many cards of the same color as possible, that is, become a monopolist. Therefore, the game was called "Monopoly". The rules are also designed to teach the player the ability to conduct transactions. After all, this determines the degree of its success.

Also, the game teaches careful attitude to money resources and minimization of risks that arise with unreasonable and risky business conduct.

American dream

The game "Monopoly" is released by the company Parker Brothers, since 1935. It appeared on the market under the following circumstances. In 1934, the unemployed engineer Charles Darrow came up with the idea of creating a game in which one could trade real estate. At first, the Parkers did not see anything unusual in it and they refused to invent it.

However, Charles did not stop there and, at his own peril and risk, ordered a 5000-th edition of the game, which was sold out in the blink of an eye. Seeing such a success of the enterprising Darrow, the company Parker Brothers acquired the rights to "Monopoly". A year later it became the most popular game in the US. Darrow himself was given the title of "living embodiment of the American dream."

This is how this legendary game was created through thorns and difficulties. And every case that needs to start from scratch, is similar. But you can learn to overcome difficulties today, just by buying "Monopoly".
