Principles of international law and the philosophy of a new world order

The principles of international law are fundamental and universal laws that regulate the rules of activity of subjects of international politics. These laws are also a criterion of legality for other legal acts that are adopted by the state or a group of states in the sphere of regulation of foreign policy activity.

The general principles of international law are mandatory norms, that is, those that can not be abrogated by other legislative acts and regulations, they also can not be reformed or changed in connection with any special circumstances. The main sources of the norms of international law are fundamental legal acts and regulations, among the main ones are the UN Charter, the provisions of the OSCE Final Act and others.

The doctrine of international law includes 10 provisions that contain universal norms and principles of international law.

The principles of international law presuppose the need to search for such methods of resolving international conflicts and misunderstandings that completely exclude the use of force and interference in the internal affairs of another sovereign country.

The concept of international law proceeds from the premise that countries should cooperate in various fields with each other, while respecting mutual obligations and ensuring equality in this cooperation.

The principles of international law stand guard over the territorial integrity and involve recognition by the subjects of foreign policy of the inviolability of state borders.

At the same time, at the beginning of the 21st century, in some states the philosophy of the new world order began to spread, the principles of which fundamentally contradict the established norms of mutual relations within the framework of the institutionalized system of international relations. The main conceptual principles of the philosophy of the new world order are:

Mythological messianic idea of a certain election of the United States. As part of this idea (Manifest Destiny), the American people are seen as God-chosen, and the US itself as the personification of the forces of Good, the state acting in the performance of the will of Almighty God, fighting against the forces of Evil. Today, just as in the Cold War, there are words that the United States is waging a crusade for democracy, justice and human rights. In the neoconservative ideology, the United States actually appears as the "Third Rome". At the same time, this ideology is an example of a gross violation of not only the norms of law, but also universal morality.

Another principle of the philosophy of the new world order is the model of a new hierarchy that actually abolishes the liberal ideas of freedom, democracy, which are declared obsolete. True, unlike the criticized, traditional hierarchy, a new model is proposed, built on the rule of money (the doctrine of the "golden billion"). This doctrine completely cynically undermines all the rules of law and in fact justifies the emergence of a "new colonialism". The formation of a new colonial system is directly related to the activities of TNCs, which are actively moving to the countries of the "third world" for resources. The political leaders of these newly liberated countries, who came to power, as a rule, not without the help of the United States, increased debt dependence on the United States, made fortunes, and left their destroyed national economies and credit debts to their people.

The third principle of the new philosophy of the new world order is the law of force, which essentially means that international law is almost completely eliminated from the sphere of international relations. According to the doctrine, the right to use force belongs only to "enlightened" states that will implement it, consistent only with those rules and concepts of justice that they themselves have established.

The formation of a new world order resulted in the disappearance of real national sovereignties and some national states as subjects of politics, the internationalization of political and economic structures, ignoring the norms of law and the policy of double standards.
