Miner's Day: holiday scenario

In the days of the USSR, a professional holiday was approved , which everybody knows today-Miner's Day. Now, when the Soviet Union no longer exists, it continues to be celebrated on the last Sunday in August in such countries as Kazakhstan, Ukraine and, of course, Russia.

In 1935, August night from 30 to 31, A. Stakhanov, the worker of the mine, set an all-time record. The miner was able to extract 102 tons of coal, while the norm was considered to be seven tons. From this began a movement called "Stakhanov".

Only 12 years later, in 1947, A. Zasyadko and D. Onik (ministers of the coal industry) applied for a new holiday. For the first time the celebration of the Day of the Miner took place in 1948, on August 29.

Since then, the Miner's Day is celebrated every year. Employees of the coal industry are congratulated not only by their relatives and friends, but also by officials. In many cities, the Day of the Miner is a major event. On the central squares there are concerts, at night fireworks flash in the sky. Everyone celebrates this day differently, but we would like to offer you one version of the party that can be held at the school. On the first participant, wearing a miner's mask, will get through the tunnel, on the second - he jumps to a chair in a sack and, sitting down on it, screams "Change is over", and then returns in the same way and hands over the baton to the other participant. You can just run from start to finish and back in the gas mask. You can divide teams into trinities - the two will have to reach the finish line and back with the third in their hands and pass the baton to the next three.

Singing together

Of course, this is the professional holiday of serious men - Miner's Day. The scenario of the event should be designed so that the children are imbued with the spirit of courage and the dangers of this profession. However, not a single holiday can do without songs.

Each team gets the text of the song, which it will perform in karaoke. You can ask the audience to sing along with the participants. The theme of the songs should match the spirit of the holiday.
