Mikhail Ancharov: biography, creativity

A man of many talents, undeservedly forgotten by contemporaries - Ancharov Mikhail Leonidovich - lived a typical life for his time and was able to leave a significant mark in the culture of the Motherland. Why is such a gifted man unable to fully realize his creative potential?

Childhood writer

March 28, 1923 on the outskirts of Moscow, in the family of an electric lamp factory engineer and a teacher of German, the firstborn was born - Ancharov Mikhail Leonidovich. The father of the boy was a participant of the Civil War, in the twenties he worked on the construction of the Shukhov Tower in Moscow. My mother graduated from the Medical Faculty of the University of Tartu. Michael grew up as an ordinary Soviet boy: he went to kindergarten, played football, he studied at 425th school on Bolshaya Semenovskaya Street. He clearly demonstrated humanitarian inclinations: he was very fond of literature, but mathematics and physics terrified him. He read so much that he even had one time inflammation of the eyes. Mom insisted that the child be recorded in a music school, he had undoubted abilities, but restlessness prevented systematic studies. But already at the age of 14 he started writing songs. At first the boy uses other people's verses, in particular A. Greene.

In the fourth grade, Mikhail first saw Natasha Surikov, who would later become his wife, they were close friends at school, teachers constantly made comments to him, because he could not take his eyes off the girl. With discipline in school, Ancharov was not very well, he was the ringleader of various antics and asked so many questions in class.

In high school, Mikhail and Natalya went to the drama circle, and the whole school was already discussing their romance. Also, the young man went to the art studio at the All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions, and the teachers noted his remarkable abilities.

Military years

When the war began, many students immediately went to the military enlistment office with a request to send them to the front, Mikhail Ancharov was no exception. The biography of the future poet was forever scorched by years of war, where he left the student's bench. He dreamed of becoming a pilot, but he did not pass a medical commission, he was sent to study at the Military Institute of Foreign Languages of the Red Army, he studies Chinese and Japanese.

In 1942, Mikhail and Natalya got married, at this time the fascists were approaching Moscow and the Ancharov family was to be evacuated. Brother, mother and young wife went to Altai together. Mikhail graduated from the institute and was sent to the Far East, he took part in the fighting in Manchuria. In 1947, he was demobilized from the army, and it was time to find oneself in a peaceful life.

Finding Yourself

Even in the senior classes, Michael faced a difficult choice: he was attracted to several creative spheres. He wanted to become an artist, but was not sure that he would pass the exams at the academy. Repin, in addition, he was interested in literature and partly in music. But still he decided then to choose a more practical profession and enrolled in an architectural institute, from where he joined the army. But after the war, he did not want to return to the profession of an architect and in 1948 entered the picturesque branch of the VGIK, but a month later, under the influence of an acquaintance with a student of the Art Institute named after. Surikov, moved to the MGHI, the department of easel painting, which ends in 1954.

However, later he still studies at the courses of film screenwriters, since this sphere continued to be of great interest to him. All his life Mikhail Ancharov aspired to realize himself in several creative areas, and in each of them he achieved certain successes.

Literary Creativity

Enthusiasm for literature in Ancharov turns into writing poetry. At first he creates texts for his songs, but gradually proceeds to write his own poetry and prose. After the war, he conveys his attitude in stories and narratives, his lyrical hero is a strong man, his characters are inventors, discoverers, scientists. Prose Ancharov is a characteristic for the thaw period literature, in which the problem of physicists and lyricists is solved, where there is a place for a dream of a bright future and high ideals of love and a real person. His works "Boxwood Forest", "Soda-Sun", "Like the Garuda Bird", "Notes of the Traveling Enthusiast", "Golden Rain", "The Theory of Incredibility" had a significant impact on the generation of the sixties and remain a weighty page in Soviet and Russian literature. His works in literary and art magazines were read with ecstasy by the whole country. Mikhail Ancharov since 1966 was a member of the Writers' Union.

Cinema in the life of Ancharov

After finishing the script courses, Mikhail Ancharov does not immediately come to the cinema, in 1962 he co-wrote with A. Zarkhi and V. Aksenov the script for the film "My younger brother", later works with a group of authors on the film "Appassionata", which received several Premiums. Together with A. Agranovsky, scenarios of paintings "Irreplaceable" and "I'm going to search" are being created. He also writes scripts for several TV films, including the first Soviet series "Day by Day." This work was a way to make a living, but there were no permanent offers from Ancharov, and the last 10 years of his life he was not in demand at all in the cinema.

Life as a song

Still, the most famous form of Ancharov's work are songs, they were extremely popular in Soviet times, but they were notorious after perestroika. He is considered the founder of the genre of bardic songs in the USSR. Many songs by Mikhail Ancharov are still heard. The most famous are: "Chimes", "Farewell Far East", "Cap-cap", "Song of the psyche", "Dandelions", "She was all right" and many others. In total he wrote about a hundred songs. V.Vysotsky considered him his teacher. The song "Standing on a Half-Stop" today is perceived as absolutely national creativity, although the author of her text was M. Ancharov. Concerts with the performance of their songs during many periods of life were the main earnings of the author, they helped him to survive, since he had almost never had another permanent job.

Private life

The life of Mikhail Ancharov is full of passions. He was an extremely charming and charismatic person. He was married four times, he had 2 children. But all marriages ended because of a domestic disorder and lack of stability. With his first wife, he broke up after joining the MGHI. The second marriage was not successful, although Ancharov was very fond of Joy Afinogenov, and lasted 10 years, and after him, Ancharov for a long time is addicted to alcohol. In the fourth marriage, Ancharov is born a long-awaited son. But the family life prevented constant travel and abuse of Michael alcohol. The lack of demand in the profession, the lack of permanent work, the inability to fully realize their talents, creative crises - all this did not contribute to family happiness. Mikhail Ancharov finished his life on July 11, 1990.
