Migrants in Russia

In the light of recent events, the issue of migrants, or rather, their deportation to their historical homeland, became acute.

But somehow we forget that we do not need all one size fits all. Migrants are different.

I want to share the story that happened to me recently and touched my heart.

One morning I came to the bank. I knew that he was working from 10 am, it turned out that he came five minutes before the opening, at 9:55.

There was already a queue in front of me - four people. The very first in line was a girl. She came first of all - so she really needed to go to the bank. As it turned out later, she had to send a transfer to Kyrgyzstan. A whole thousand rubles. For the sake of this she came maybe 15 minutes, and maybe half an hour before the opening of the bank. When the operator asked her to specify the phone number, she blushed and said that she had forgotten the phone at home, but she did not remember the number for memory. Why does it seem to me that she did not forget the phone at home, she simply does not have her cell phone ... And she therefore does not remember the number - it simply does not exist. And it came long before the opening of the bank, because there, in Kyrgyzstan, this thousand rubles are very much awaited.

So that's what it's for. Answer honestly - for one of us, one thousand rubles or 30 dollars is a significant sum? And look around, migrants work in many jobs, which most of us will not go, even if the money is very needed. Someone else - because he considers it beneath his dignity to work for such scanty amounts. Someone - because they can not perform such hard and dirty work. The reasons are different for everyone. But it is the migrants who collect the carts after we take the purchases from the supermarket to their cars, the migrants wash our porches, they sweep our yards.

There are other migrants who sell in the markets that build houses, drive buses, repair shoes and do many other things. Yes, certainly, among them, too, there are moral monsters and criminal elements, which form a negative impression of migrants in general. But, it must be admitted, one can not simply take and deport migrants to their historical homeland. Who will work in their place? A rhetorical question.

For the sake of justice I want to note that I am negative about statements made by individual representatives of the allied states of such a plan - yes, he committed a crime, but this is our citizen, send to us, we will deal with him here on our own. I think that this position is fundamentally wrong. If your citizen is so positive, they would keep him at home, why were they allowed to leave?

Although it is necessary to note the unity of many diasporas in the defense of their compatriots, regardless of whether he is guilty or not. Russians need to learn, or they have forgotten already, like this, when one for all and all for one.

Well, one more rhetorical question is why we are used to and believe that the situation is quite normal when, say, people with names Aliyev and Mamedov are building business in most Russian cities, and imagine (even imagine!) How people with names Ivanov and Petrov are trying To build a business in Baku, Dushanbe or Alma-Ata as it does not work ...
