Martin Jiranek is a Czech central defender who has not achieved particularly impressive successes at European level, but he was remembered by Russian fans. After all, he played for one of the leading clubs in Russia, and even now he plays in the Russian championship. Martin Jiranek, however, began his career, of course, not in Russia, but at home, in the Czech Republic.

For a long time, the little boy Martin spent at the football school of the Radotinsky club, but at the age of fifteen he moved to the Czech capital Prague for the Bohemians, with whom he signed the first professional contract at age eighteen. In this club, Martin Yiranek spent three seasons, having played 55 matches, after which a much more serious Czech club "Slovan" noticed a young talent. It was there that the 20-year-old went to try to achieve great success. Martin Jiranek already showed good performance, so many people argued that he eventually moved to one of the clubs of the strongest leagues in Europe, and will not remain in the Czech Republic.

And the predictions about the fact that Martin Jiranek, whose biography was just beginning to be written, will be in the European top league, came true. In the "Slovak" defender spent only one and a half season, during which he played 32 matches. His speeches, of course, attracted the attention of more serious clubs performing in the leading leagues of Europe. Of course, we are not talking about Madrid's "Real" or the Munich "Bavaria" - the level of the defender was not so high. But in the winter of 2001, the 22-year-old moved to the Italian Serie B, where he signed a contract with him, "Regina", which paid him a little more than a million euros. So Jiranek took a step up a notch, starting his way into serious football. But before that, he managed to take the Czech Cup with his Czech club - one of the few trophies in his career.

In "Regina" Jiranek spent three and a half years, immediately gaining a place in the base. In many ways, thanks to the talents of the defender, the club was able to get into the A series, the highest Italian division in 2002. For all the time in the club, Yiranek played exactly one hundred matches, after which his skills attracted the attention of the Moscow "Spartak", who paid for the 25-year-old Czech with three and a half million euros. So Martin found his club, in which he spent the best years of his career.

The transition took place in the summer, when in most football championships break for the main transfer window, but in Russia the season is a little different, so the middle season falls on the summer. Yiranek, despite the fact that he came to the club in the middle of his performances in the championship, immediately got a place in the base and did not lose it almost never for six years, which he spent in the Moscow club. But this period was not the best for the once great club, so Yiranek did not win a single trophy. Four times, "Spartacus" was in second place in the Russian championship, once went to the finals of the Cup of Russia, once - in the finals of the Russian Super Cup, but never failed to win. Therefore, in 2010, the 31-year-old defender left the club, not having acquired a single trophy - he signed a one-year contract with the British "Birmingham", which paid him six hundred thousand euros.

It's amazing, but after six years in Spartacus and a complete absence of trophies the first year in "Birmingham" - and Yiranek got an English League Cup. But it should be noted that he practically did not play - had only sixteen matches for the entire season. Therefore, the contract with him was not extended, and the football player returned to Russia.

One of the reasons why Yiranek Martin returned to Russia is the wife of a football player. She completely supported him in every way, pushed him to fulfill his dream - playing in the English Premier League. And even if things did not turn out as well as we would like, Martin was absolutely happy. The personal life of Martin Yiranek began to take shape in Russia, where he met his wife Anna Demchenko. And he returned to Russia, because he loved his wife and this country. He signed a two-year contract with the Grozny "Terek", for which he eventually played 49 games, after which he moved to "Tom", for which he acts to this day. He moved to the club in 2013, and then "Tom" flew into the second league, which did not alienate Martin. He already has 57 games for this club, but his contract expires this summer, so there is a big decision ahead whether to extend the agreement or finish the career, because Jiraneku is already 37 years old.
