Marketplace Raise.ru became part of the service "Transportation 24"

The service of renting special machinery "Perevozka 24" announced a new acquisition. They became the marketplace Raise.ru, dedicated to trucks and special equipment. This merger will allow buyers to immediately enter the rental market.

Until 2002, in Russia, special equipment rent was poorly ordered. An example of this was the markets of the US and Western Europe. By 2014, the situation has changed dramatically, as construction has developed at an active pace. Builders had to attract more equipment. The annual growth of rent reached 25%. The changed order of customs taxation and the economic situation led to the fact that many companies refused to purchase new equipment, preferring to rent it or buy used equipment.

Increased demand has led to stricter competition and a drop in rental rates. By 2015, many companies had to leave the market. Previously, the new technology fully paid off after a maximum of two years of work. Now the increased cost of cars and the inability to significantly increase rental rates do not allow for regular updating of machinery.

The specialists of the "Perevozka 24" service say about some improvement of the situation in the rental market of equipment in the period from the end of 2016 to the beginning of 2017. The prices of landlords showed a tendency to insignificant growth. The reason was a slightly increased demand and competition among small businesses. More than 70% of contractors prefer to lease special equipment, rather than buying it. This may lead to further price increases and subsequent purchases.

Private developers are not going to purchase equipment in order to implement a short-term project. Instead, they prefer to rent. Large companies have gone along the same path. The main reason for this trend is the economical expenditure of funds. The maintenance of special equipment is too expensive, not to mention its full renewal. Even if the cost of rent increases, the purchase will still remain less advantageous option.

Throughout 2016, the rent did not change. It increased only in autumn, by 5%. The growth of rent in 2017 will be up to 10%. The technique of narrow application like vacuum cleaners or water carriers is in great demand. This technique is at the disposal of large companies, and it is more expensive than the rest.

Experts of the international analytical company Freedonia Group forecast a major leap in the development of mining and construction industries. This can provoke an increased demand for the rental of front loaders, as well as excavators and other special equipment. The merger of Raise.ru and "Transport 24" will be particularly beneficial in light of the possible stabilization of the market.
