An unusual skewer. Recipe for canapés of pancakes
This beautiful and comfortable snack can be served according to your imagination and taste. In any case, it is able to decorate your holiday table. For each canapé, one plastic skewer is required. The recipe suggests that you will prepare your own pancakes from half a liter of milk, three eggs, two glasses of flour and a spoonful of sugar. If possible, they should be as thin as possible and at the same time strong.
Cool the pancakes and cook the filling. To do this, take half a kilo of curd cheese or a homogeneous fat cottage cheese, half a small can of olives (pitted) and an average piece of salted salmon. Fish can be used and another - ketu, trout, even herring. First, prepare something like a cake made of pancakes with a layer of cheese and fish. The first pancake should be greased with curd cheese, on the next - a thin layer to lay out pieces of salmon. So alternate layers.
After the pancakes and the filling have run out, the task of carving the canapés will arise before you. Each of them will hold one skewer. The recipe suggests that pancakes should not be shifted when cutting.
Mushroom puffs on skewers
Take half a kilogram of puff pastry, 300 grams of small fresh champignons, 150 grams of cheese "Gouda" or "Cheddar", egg, sesame, pepper. For each portion of the snack you will need a separate wooden skewer - the recipe assumes that they will be long enough. Rinse and mushrooms, sprinkle with salt and ground pepper. Fry in a dry frying pan for five minutes with seasoning. Cool on the plate. Cut the cheese into cubes, comparable in size to the mushrooms. Defrost the dough and, cutting it into strips 2 cm wide, proceed to assemble the snack. On the skewer string, alternating, pieces of cheese and mushrooms. Leave a couple of centimeters around the edges. Eat each skewer with a layered dough. Make sure that the strip tightly surrounds the filling, otherwise the cheese, after warming up, may leak out. Fix and glue the edges - then during the baking process the snack will retain its shape. To do this, moisten the dough with a little cold water. Put on a baking sheet over parchment, grease with yolk, sprinkle with sesame, bake for a quarter of an hour before the appearance of a ruddy crust. In addition to cheese, you can put ham with a rich taste on skewers. It must also be cut into cubes. You can sprinkle mushrooms with herbs or favorite spices.
