Let's discuss the popular colors of laminate

In the distant 1977 it first began to use it not only in furniture production, but also for the organization of floor coverings. Thanks to this new material quickly became extremely popular. By the way, what is it and what does the color of the laminate, so popular today, depend on?

Note that its name translates as "layered material." Unfortunately, our fellow citizens still have an opinion that the laminate is somehow related to the parquet board. Unfortunately, this has little in common with reality. In particular, its generality with parquet is manifested only due to texture, which resembles a natural tree. Of course, the unifying parameter can be the colors of the laminate, as now the products are produced not only with imitation of the wood pattern, but even marble and other materials!

But to create a truly stunning interior in your home, you need to think about several aspects at once. As you already guessed, the color palette of the laminate chosen by you is of the utmost importance. Given the huge variety of options, making choices is very difficult.

What colors of laminate are best for your home? It should be noted that when choosing a color palette, there are several basic rules. For example, when the windows of your room face south, it makes sense to select as light a laminate as possible. Ideally suitable "white oak", "maple" and similar colors. If you choose the dark colors of the laminate, then on a sunny day on such a floor all the dirt will be perfectly visible.

On the contrary, in the rooms of the north side (or otherwise darkened), it would be better to look just like a dark floor covering. But in this case it is unacceptable to neglect the size of the room. If it is small, a too dark floor will further reduce its volume visually.

Note that in apartment studios and small houses in which space has to be broken into functional areas, it will be best to use dark laminate in the work area. But you need to try to apply the walls and ceiling of light colors, as the game of contrasts looks the most profitable. So before you choose the color of the laminate, you need to carefully plan the layout of the room, because otherwise the effect will be far from ideal.

In the kitchen, it is best to use the already mentioned tile imitation. If possible, it is better to purchase a waterproof laminate, since the floor in this room is often washed. In any case, quality wax impregnation will not be superfluous, and the strength class should be no lower than 32, since otherwise it may happen that the fallen dishes will damage the floor covering.

The most problematic in terms of wear and contamination in the building is the entrance hall. In her case, it's not worth thinking about what color to choose a laminate, because only a dark material with a high class of durability can keep its attractive appearance for a long time. In a word, we do not recommend going to the building store at random, because otherwise you will not be able to create the proper interior, and later you will face many problems.
