Lake Lokness and its secrets: reality or just business?

The reservoir, shrouded in a fleur of mysteries, is known to the world for different versions of films about the Loch Ness Monster, publications and rumors. But not everyone knows where the Lochness lake is. It is located in Scotland, in the north of Great Britain. And although the lake Lochness on the map looks modest, in size it is quite impressive. The length is 39 kilometers. The area of the water surface is 56 square kilometers. Km. The maximum depth is 230 meters. So in such a lake it was quite safe to hide and not one monster.

Lake Lokness and its inhabitants

About the pond there are legends connected not only with dinosaurs and lizards. Some evidence suggests the appearance of a lake in the area of the lake. Most researchers agree that there is indeed an anomalous zone here. The first evidence of the existence of a monster in the lake appeared in 1966. Then the director of the air force channel filmed a camera, as a huge animal moves along the surface of the water. Experts have been shown that this is not an installation or a mock-up. After a while, attempts were made to capture Nessie or his cubs. But none of the expeditions were successful. Every meter of the lake was scoured, and all was in vain. In 1992, the latest technologies of that time were used. The sonar passed through every cubic meter of water. As a result, researchers found about five species of various large animals, which were unequivocally attributed to long-extinct dinosaurs. Believe it or not - it's up to you, but there is evidence of their presence in the pond.

Lake Lokness, as it turned out, is not yet fully understood. Already in the late 90's with the help of deep-water vehicles a cave was found in the water column. Its depth exceeds 200 meters, and according to researchers, it can be the habitat of all the strange lake animals that hide there from intrusive explorers. Scientists have tried to find out if the lake is connected through this cave with other water bodies, but reliable data could not be obtained.

Price of issue

Many regret that now science and searches have gone to the background, and the main place is of commercial interest. Lake Lokness turned into an attraction for tourists and a way to earn huge amounts of money. Every year many tourists come here, ready to give money to witness the appearance of a relict monster. But so far no one has ever seen it. Although on the shore there is a museum dedicated to Loch Ness. Here are collected all the evidence and evidence of Nessie's habitat in the lake, as well as the main representatives of flora and fauna. The annual income from tourists is 25 million pounds sterling. But the most sad thing is that for the sake of excitement and increasing popularity of the place, businessmen are going to a frank forgery. Forged photos and video (modern technology allows it to do perfectly), bribed false witnesses. In general, there is a stormy advertising activity. As a result, confidence in real scientific discoveries and testimonies is diminishing. By the way, fake photos - this is not news. In the 30s of the 20th century, a fake photo of Nessie was made by a certain surgeon. Many people believed him, and the photo was considered authentic until the surgeon's death.
