Lada Maroussia - a unique development

In 2008, December 16, in Russia there was a significant event related to the automotive industry - the company called "Marusya Motors" demonstrated the first in Russia premium sports car - Lada Marusya. To date, there are two models of this type of car, created by this company. They are called "B1" and "B2". They differ from each other with technical equipment and other characteristics, the second model is newer than the first, so we will focus on it. What is this unique machine, in the development of which Nikolai Fomenko took part? We'll find out.

Like any other car, this sports car is equipped with three types of equipment, and in each - its own version of the engine, which have the following characteristics: 1 - volume of 3.6 liters, with a capacity of 300 horses; 2 - volume of 2.8 liters, with a power of 420 or 360 horsepower.

The differences between the model series B1 and B2. Model B1 has a modern and sporty design. The car weighs slightly more than 1 ton. Acceleration to 100 km / h is achieved in a relatively short period of time - only 3.8 seconds. The car is equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission. You can note such features as an independent front and rear suspension, as well as ventilated discs. It costs Lada Marusya B1 more than one hundred thousand euros. Not at all cheap!

Lada Marusya model B2 surpasses its predecessor in all respects. Price category: more than 117 thousand euros. Weight of the car - more than 1.1 tons, despite the fact that to reduce the weight largely used carbon fiber. The acceleration time to 100 km / h reaches 3.2 seconds. The car is also improved braking system, so even at ultra-high speeds Lada Marusya B2 stops for some seconds. Interior trim: leather, carbon and alcantra.

Russian experts have made their great contribution to the development of the multimedia system of the car. Thus, the complete set includes the TV, radio, 4G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Glonass and GPS. It is also possible to connect 12 different cameras to the system, 5 of which are already included in the basic configuration.

Also among the pride of domestic developers is the suspension of the car. "Lying policemen" do not pose a threat to a sports car of this type due to the possibility of increasing the clearance by seven and a half centimeters. This can be achieved through screw racks, which have several rigidity settings and are fixed to the body with eccentrics.

"Maroussia Motors" believes that their auto store - the new Lada Maroussia - is able to compete with the best sports cars of the world among this class. And the assumptions of the company's leaders are based on undeniable facts. Indeed, in fact, the appearance, safety requirements, technical characteristics are not inferior to the most famous and popular cars among foreign manufacturers. But the cost of the car is much lower. Due to this superiority, the company already has many orders both from abroad and from domestic dealers.
