Kurdistan Workers' Party: History and Goals

In the Middle East, wars have not ceased since ancient times, and the peoples who inhabit this territory suffer from this. Those were the Kurds. They are now one of the divided nations. The Kurdistan Workers' Party is dreaming of creating a country for the representatives of this nation. The struggle has been going on for several centuries.

History of the problem

The proud people simply did not have the opportunity to build their own state, which protected its rights. Therefore, the Kurdistan Workers' Party was established. To understand what the Kurdistan Workers' Party is today, it is enough to know one thing: this people is divided up to date. Its representatives live in Turkey, Iraq and Syria. Their desire for independence, despite the brutal repression, is not broken, especially since the Middle East is now a "powder keg". Here there are constant clashes of various forces, turning into a bloodbath. Unfortunately, the Kurds live at the crossroads of the ruined countries. Syria and Iraq can not now be considered normal states. The authorities of both countries retain control only over small pieces of territory. In other areas, the forbidden organization of the IG operates. Its methods are known all over the world, and they can not be called humane. The Kurdistan Workers' Party in these conditions organizes protection of the population from all. These are not simple words, because the Kurds are literally surrounded by enemies. Their settlements are threatened by gangs, and there is nobody to look for protection. Only people can take care of themselves. The Kurdish Workers' Party creates armed formations designed to serve both the police and the army. Political scientists say that this is the state in its infancy. Practically Syrian Kurds could self-organize, develop rules of existence for the people, create effective protection of the territories.

Turkey and the Kurdish Workers Party

Iran and Syria are practically destroyed. This misfortune gave the Kurds the chance to gain independence. Turkey is another matter. In this country, the authorities do not want to put up with the "separatist sentiments" of a part of the population. Turkey officially recognized that the Kurdistan Workers' Party is a terrorist organization. Its activities are banned in the country. The representatives of this organization are fighting against the forces of special services and police. At the end of 2015, an anti-terrorist operation was launched in Turkey . It is conducted in those areas where the Kurds live. Political analysts express confidence that Turkey is gradually plunging into a civil war, as previously Ukraine. The thing is that the authorities can not allow all political parties to function freely in the country, and their programs try not to inform the population. The situation in this country is very tense. Kurds seek independence, which will lead to the loss of territories by Turkey.

International agreement

Many experts are sure that the Kurdish problem can not be solved by local forces. Need to help the people from the international community. But the situation is complicated by the fact that in these territories there are many terrorist organizations recognized as such in some countries. Before giving independence to the Kurds, it is necessary to free countries from them. This is what the Russian Federation aerospace research institute did in autumn 2015. The Kurds are negotiating. They are in general disunited on a territorial basis. The Syrian states that they do not insist on secession. Iraqi Kurds actually formed their own state, the Turkish are fighting with the authorities. As the Kurdish question is solved, time will tell. However, the UN Security Council can not do without this. It is necessary to apply all possible diplomatic means, so that the blood of the long-suffering people will no longer irrigate the land.
