Ilya Davydov was born in Yaroslavl in 1989. In his hometown he made his first steps in domestic hockey. First I tried myself on different positions, eventually stopped at the role of the defender.

In his youth, he played in the First Hockey League of the Russian Championship for the double of Yaroslavl "Locomotive". However, to prove himself so much to perform in the main team of his native city, failed. I had to look for other clubs.

In professional hockey Ilya Davydov made his debut in 2007 when he was 18 years old. His first team was the "Southern Urals" from Orsk. At that time, he played in the Major League. In his first season, the guy was often used on defensive positions. Played 19 games, but not a single point earned.

Izhevsk period

In the 2010/11 season Ilya Davydov became a player of the Izhstal team from Izhevsk. She made her debut in the newly formed Higher Hockey League. As in the previous season, Davydov took the club of the Higher Hockey League from the city of Sarov. Davydov's team took 15th place in the regular season, getting a place in the playoffs. True, already at the stage of the 1/8 finals "Sarovtsy" lost to the Tyumen "Rubin" in five games. Davydov spent 17 matches on the court, in which he scored 4 goals and gave one goal.

The next year he stayed in the same club. The team this time performed less successfully. After taking only 20 position, she was out of the game. Davydov played in the first team. I played 35 matches, in which I gave 4 assists.

In 2014, Davydov moved to the Vladivostok "Admiral" - the command of the Continental Hockey League. In the season of 2014/2015 he played only 9 games, in which he scored one goal. At the same time, his team became the 9th in the Eastern Conference. To get into the playoffs, she did not have one point.

During the season, "Admiral" broke up with Davydov. In his services interested in Chelyabinsk "Tractor". Until the end of the game year, the young man spent 32 matches in the new team. I scored one goal and gave one goal.
