HP Pavilion x360 Notebook PC and its features

Today we will review the HP Pavilion x360 laptop. This series consists of 5 models: four of them are based on Intel Core - processors of the fourth generation, the fifth model is equipped with AMD A8-6410.

Transformer HP Pavilion X360 is based on a quad-core processor. The APU operates at 2 GHz, it can be increased to 2.4, thanks to the Turbo Core mode. There is a 2MB L2 cache, and Radeon R5 is a productive graphics core. The system works with DDR3L-1600 MHz memory. Its power consumption does not exceed 15 watts. HP Pavilion x360 13 received 8 GB of RAM standard DDR3L. The module Micron 16KTF1G64HZ is used. Memory mode is single-channel.

The laptop is extremely difficult to disassemble. The storage system includes a thin 2.5-inch HDD with a capacity of 500 GB or 1 TB. There is no optical drive . Communication capabilities are in the Qualcomm Atheros QCA9565 802.11b / g / n wireless network adapter. It has built-in Bluetooth 4.0. There is also a 1 Gigabit network interface based on the Realtek controller.

The audio subsystem has a Realtek ALC282 HDA codec. A pair of built-in speakers is used for acoustics. Appearance

Mounting the screen to the body is represented by two hinge loops. They are at the bottom of the display. Keyboard

The keys are black. The letters, in turn, are white and very noticeable. The keyboard is slightly recessed, judging by the framing surface. The foundation under it is quite rigid. The keyboard is quiet. Clacking sound is missing. The layout is not standard. This approach is rarely found in laptops. The L-shaped Enter button and the short left Shift are applied.

Touchpad

The HP Pavilion x360 notebook has a click-through that simulates a keystroke. The size of the working area is 95 × 65 mm. The touch surface is buried, practically not emitted. Sensitivity of censures does not cause. This input device supports MultiTouch, as well as gestures. The click-through is convenient and deserves high praise.

Sound

The HP Pavilion x360 has an audio system with two built-in speakers. It is not very suitable for listening to music, for these purposes it is better to use external headphones.

Screen and other options

HP Pavilion x360 is equipped with a sensor LCD matrix, which is supplemented by LED lighting. There is a glossy finish. The screen size is 13.3 inches with a resolution of 1366 × 768 pixels. Note that the brightness control is carried out due to the pulse width modulation of the LED backlight with a frequency of 200 Hz. At the maximum level, there is no flicker. The color coverage of the screen is at the level of 59.1%.

In idle conditions, the processor frequency is 1.0 GHz. Under load, this indicator increases to 2.0-2.2 GHz. The laptop belongs to the category of incredibly quiet. According to the measurements, under idle conditions, the noise figure emitted by the device is 23 dBA. It's about such a low level that it's almost impossible to hear a laptop computer in natural conditions.

Now consider what happens under load. The noise level is increased to 29 dBA. Even in this case, you can hear it only in an absolutely quiet environment.

In this device, the pros and cons are closely intertwined. Its performance is attributed to the entry-level indicators. It can be used to solve undemanding tasks: video viewing, Internet communication, office applications. The screen also has a number of drawbacks. The sound subsystem does not stand out. Also it can be called heavy and thick.

Tablet mode is a pleasant additional option. Sometimes the device refuses to respond to removable media. The silence of work is an indisputable plus. You can buy the device for 25,000 rubles. This price is considered to be quite appropriate for the level of the device. However, during the decision to purchase, one should weigh well the strengths and weaknesses.
