If you are engaged in needlework and know the skill of weaving from rubber bands, you can improve your skills and learn how to weave an owl of rubber bands. The ways to create it are simple, easy for them to learn.

How to weave an owl on the machine?

Necessary material: machine, hook, rubber bands (38 blue, 8 blue, 4 orange, 4 black).

Place the machine with the open side of the post to yourself, so that the center row is farther than the side row. Pull out the gum on top, gradually going down. Before weaving an owl with our own hands, remember that almost always uses two rubber bands.

So, weaving begins with the formation of the head. Take the 2 blue rubber bands and stretch them from the first left column to the second middle row. Repeat these steps on the second row. Now take 2 elastic bands, put them on a pair of starting posts along the edges, and in the middle row from the second to the third.

To make the eyes of an owl, it is necessary to throw two rubber bands from the second to the third column both to the left and to the right. Take the 2 orange rubber bands and put them on the third and fourth columns in the middle.

We continue to form the head of a suven. Wrap another 2 gums in each row. To learn how to give the head a rounded shape and combine all the rows while weaving the owls of rubber bands on the machine, stretch the pair of rubber bands diagonally to the center.

Weaving the torso

Fit one rubber band diagonally from the last used column in the middle to the fifth column on both sides.

To form the abdomen, string 4 pairs of blue rubber bands in the middle row of the machine. To create wings, you need to pull on 3 pairs of rubber bands in the left and right rows.

Wrap the orange band around the hook three times. Then take 2 blue rubber bands and put a triple loop on them from the hook. With this construction, connect the middle and lateral rows obliquely. Repeat the presser foot on the other side.

Now we can proceed to the main point in the question of how to weave an owl. On the middle post pull and pound the three times wound rubber band, remove the 2 blue ones and put them on the last bar on the left, and the second pair on the right.

In the same way, we throw in the blue gums. Lower the elastic bands in all rows, grab the crochet and throw it forward to the base of the trunk.

Now the most difficult moment in the entire process of weaving an owl of rubber bands, since there are a lot of gums on the center column, so it's very important to get the right pair. Move the crocheted upper gum, get a pair of blue and place them on the corresponding peg. Do this with all three pairs of erasers.

In exactly the same way, continue to weave further. From the last middle column, remove the 2 irises and toss them to the last left column, then transfer the last two pairs to the last right.

For convenience, make a loop. Pull the blue rubber band through the eyelet and secure it by making a knot. The process of weaving is over, remove the ready figure of the owl from the machine.

Paws of an owl

On the free edge, wind four turns of 1 yellow gum. Then again rub 2 gum base colors. Transfer the yellow rubber band to the middle. Here, move the lower pairs from the left side, it is important that the yellow remains in the same place.

Weave 3 pairs of pink irises: put 2 pieces on the pins, and lower them into the center. Next, move the entire weave to the right. Using the hook, place the first triple loop on the left pin. The second torso will be the tummy of an owl. Throw on the slingshot 2 white gum, slide them on the triple on the left side. Do this with 5 pairs of white rubber bands.

Put the resulting blank on the right count. Again, put the first triple rubber on the left pin. Hook the columns 2 pink gum, triple transfer to the center. Transfer everything from the left column to the right and twine the second foot of the owl in a well-known way.

After the yellow elastic band you transferred to 2 pink, weave another 3 pairs of rubber bands of the same color. Combine the entire body. Put on 2 elastic bands and transfer to the middle all the details.

Braiding of the head

Pull two rubber bands on the pins and slide the lower pairs on both sides. Weave another couple, and then weave the entire weave on the right side. On the left column 4 times wrap 1 black elastic band. Then put on a pair of rubber bands pink and move them black.

Send 2 pairs of pink rubber bands to the right in the center, but so that the black one is to the left of them. Weave 2 more elastic bands. Transfer the entire wickerwork to the right. Insert the hook into the elastic band at the base of the head and cover it with 2 yellow elastic bands. Pull the hook through the loop and put the other end of the rubber bands on it.

Put on a yellow elastic band on the left side of the slingshot, and then 2 pink on both sides. Then transfer the elastic on them to the left. Pull all the parts onto the right pin. Insert the hook into the loop at the base of the head and draw through it 2 pink gum. Then slide the gum on the left column. String 2 pink gum on the slingshot and transfer to the center of the weaving of the gum on the left.

To weave an eye, move the two upper bands from the right column to the opposite side. In the vacant place, perform the familiar weaving of the eye. Before we finish the weaving of the owl from the rubber bands, we must unite all the elements. Put on 1 pink elastic band and on it move all elastic bands of weaving. Transfer one single rubber band to the next column, and tighten the bottom in a loop.

Through the left loop of the head crochet stretch 1 pink elastic band and make a knot. Repeat on the other side. Remove excess length with scissors.

How to weave an owl on a hook?

The figure of the owl will be composed of nine chains of seven loops, connected above and below. This is very easy to do, since in the weaving of an owl of rubber bands only a hook is used.

Take the gum base color (purple) and circle around the hook three times. Then use 2 pieces to pull it through the triple loop. In this way, weave 7 pairs of lilac gums.

Transfer this chain to an additional free hook. Weave one more same detail of the owl using rubber bands of the same color. And release the tool again.

The next chain will consist of a piece of abdomen of an owl and an eye. Take 1 purple gum and three times wind on the hook. Now, by the already known method, weave 3 pairs of pink rubber bands. Then weave a pair of purple.

To weave an owl's eye, take 3 white gum, put it on the hook, but do not stretch it into the noose. Hold your finger with the free edge of the rubber bands. On the hook, scroll four times with 1 black rubber band. After that you can throw white gum.

To make the beak of an owl, take 2 orange gum and weave them. Hook another 3 pairs of purple gum on the hook. And again, move the chain to an additional hook. Weave a chain of seven loops, in whose weaving there is a part of the tummy and eyes of the owl. Release the work hook. Add another 4 identical chains of 7 loops, use a purple color.

To connect all the details of the suven, take 2 purple gum and hook on the hook. Then move the finished chains to them. After this, put the other end of the rubber bands on the hook and tighten into a loop, stretching one pair of rubber bands through the other.

Connect the bottom part of the owl. Hook the hook in all the loops of rubber bands with a triple turn. Put on the hook 1 purple gum and all the weaving from the hook move it. Then fix it again with a knot.

To make the ears of the ears, hook the first top pair of rubber bands, in the chain where the eye is. Then get under the entire loop in the next row, but for the second pair. Put on the hook 3 pink gum, stretch it under the loops and tighten in a knot. Cut the long ends with scissors. Make the same eye on the other side.

Wings
