How to make a palm from a bottle

These include, for example, plastic bottles, which are now in high demand for the manufacture of various handicrafts. However, that's all the charm that the secondary processing in the form of handicrafts is exactly the material that clogs our environment. And in skillful hands, it turns into beautiful products that adorn our lives. In this article, let's talk about such an ornamental material as plastic, and tell you how a palm is made from a plastic bottle.

The fact that the craftsmen liked to work with plastic, say the pages of the Internet, dotted with man-made products. On the streets of cities, in cottages and in our houses all new crafts from this material appear. What only do not make of plastic bottles: birds and butterflies, flowers, cacti and palms, curtains and lamps, various adaptations for a garden and a country house. And with what pleasure children take part in this work! After all, before their eyes, some garbage turns into a toy.

Doing a palm from a bottle is not so difficult.

First of all, you need to collect enough plastic bottles of green and brown color to make them a tall and impressive "palm". But if you do not have bottles of the right colors, you can use any - you can just paint them.

Also prepare 1-2 hard rods for the barrel or smooth, non-thick sticks, several elastic rods of smaller diameter - for twigs, drill, stapler, scissors, cigarette lighter, green and brown paints.

Manufacture:

Do the workpieces for the trunk: from the brown bottles (if there are none, then take any others), cut the bottoms at a height of approximately 20-30 cm. Cut the edges with denticles and slightly bend them outward. In each billet, drill a hole for the assembly of a barrel of this size so that a rod or stick enters it.

Green (if not, then any other color) bottles cut in half. Then we cut each halve with scissors on the noodles, so that it would look like the leaves of a palm tree. On one of these halves leave the neck. And on the other, drill a hole. We do this with all bottles.

Our workpieces are ready. The palm of the bottle is very easy to assemble. We set the base, that is, the first workpiece, it can be made from a larger bottle. We fix in it a metal pin and string all the blanks for the trunk gradually. There is a palm from the bottle, as a designer - one piece is inserted into another and so on ... Everything, the trunk is ready!

Now let's take care of the crown of our palm: we take the metal rod, the one that is intended for the branches. We put the blanks one into the other, with the neck in the neck, but at the very last we leave the stopper. Drill the cork, and stick a little to create the effect of these branches. Leaves a little opalivaem and arch, creating a crown of palm trees. So we collect all the branches.

We fix the leaves on the trunk with a stapler. The stem is slightly "fluffed", slightly bending the corners in the sides in different directions. The palm of the bottle is ready. If you used bottles not from brown and green, but from some other, we take paints and paint our palm in the right colors.

The finished product is installed in the yard, slightly lowering the lower part into the ground. That's all, the decoration for your site is ready!
