The best fixings for the filament are wiring terminals with fixing screws. They are withdrawn from the plastic case and attached to the insulator. On the one hand, a feeding wire is inserted in them, passed through the handle, and on the other hand - a nichrome heating element. After assembly, the plate is carefully inserted into the handle cavity and fixed there.

Assembling and setting up a pyrograph

The self-made wood burner consists of a power pack and a holder with a heating element. It is connected to the secondary winding of the step-down transformer. For this purpose, standard screwed wiring clamps are installed on the board. The primary circuit of the transformer is controlled by a simple electrical circuit of three resistances, such an amount of capacitances and two triodes.
