But there is another famous and popular product, which is also the hallmark of this wonderful country - the famous herbal tincture "Becherovka", a composition that is very difficult to determine. This drink is a strong liquor, infused into herbs. Many people before they drink "Becherovka" expect from her a soft, light taste. But first we will tell you an interesting story of the appearance of the drink. For the first time it became known in Karlovy Vary in 1805. The legend tells that a doctor of English origin, Fröhrig, visited the local pharmacist Josef Becher. On the basis of common interests, men quickly became friends. They together were engaged in mixing of various grasses, extracts, oils. During the stay of Fröhrig, the friends made up a recipe for herbal tinctures. In 1807, Bekher completes it and creates a specific aromatic drink that helps stimulate digestion. Over time, he went on sale as a drop for the stomach called "Carlsbad English biter". And a little later, Josef decided to perpetuate his name. So there was a well-known tincture called "Becherovka". Gradually, the demand for it began to increase, and the secret composition of the drink was passed down from generation to generation. Currently, tincture is called the thirteenth curative source. At one time, this napapitok even struck the Austrian king.

So, how do they drink Becherovka correctly? There is a large number of options for how to use this drink in cocktails, as well as in pure form. In addition to the traditional version of the drink, there are others - with different flavors. For example, "Becherovka Cordial" (as there is no special recipe for her drink) has shades of taste of a lime flower. It goes by a fortress of 35%. In "Becherovka" type KV add red wine. The strength of this liqueur is above 40%. "Becherovka Lemond" has a smaller fortress. The drink has a lemon flavor with orange tints.
