Some even believe in him, they are afraid of him and tell terrible stories about him. But how did the Slenderman appear?

Each fictional character has his own story: how he came into the world, how he gained all the details, whether he was invented by a concrete person or is the result of collective folk art. In 2009, a competition was held in one of the Western forums, where participants had to take any photo and use it to process it, adding some supernatural effects. One of the participants of the contest approached the task very creatively and even created a certain story about his character - a tall man with disproportionate arms and legs, and most importantly - with an absolutely white face, with no signs of eyes, nose and other organs. This project turned out to be a real masterpiece, which in a relatively short time went beyond the forum at which the competition was held, and became famous throughout the world. His whole point is to save himself from the Slenderman in the forest by collecting eight notes scattered all over the territory. The action takes place in silence and tranquility, until you find the first of the notes - then begins to play ominous music, and at any moment before you may appear the figure of the Thin Man.

About his approach, he tells you the image in the video camera, which begins to catch the noise. The greater the interference, the closer the Slenderman, which means that you need to be extremely attentive. If you find yourself too close to the monster, the game will end. If you look at it too long, the game will end. You just have to constantly look around, and if you notice Slenderman - turn around and run away. Only then can you be saved. The more notes you find, the louder the music plays and the more likely it is that you will come across a Thin Man. This game frightened not one of the strongest gamer, so it's easy to say that in the same popular project "Maynkraft" Slenderman is unlikely to be so awesome.

A complete game project

It is worth noting that the above game is a project of independent developers who themselves wrote it and released it themselves. But there is already a 2013 game called Slender: The Arrival, which was developed by another company that bought the rights to this series. The game is a direct continuation of the first part, only now it has a full story, various game events, several levels and interesting bonuses.

So, this time you'll have to play for Lauren, Kate's girlfriend, whose story is a little rewritten. Now Kate is a victim of the Slenderman, she agreed with Lauren about the meeting, but when she arrived, she was not at home. A little investigation indicates that Kate was hooked on the Thin Man, saw hallucinations with his participation, all the walls of her room are hung with notes and notes about a creature called Slenderman. Photos, drawings, strange symbols - all this is very suspicious. After reading one of the notes, Lauren hears a cry and goes in search of his girlfriend. Naturally, with her she only has a flashlight and a video camera - a classic set for this series.

In this game you will see the Slenderman, whose photo you most likely saw more than once, but now it will be improved - the same tentacles, mentioned earlier, and some other interesting features will be added. In the first chapter, you will not meet with this monster, but you will find a boy, because of which everything started - he was lost, because of this his father left his wife, then his father locked himself in the basement and set fire to the house where the place was built Kate. The boy, by the way, is a proxy, so if you get too close to him, he will rush at you, hit with claws and run away. You need to go to the forest.

Repetition of the first part

On the one hand, this project is a continuation of the original version, and on the other - a kind of a remake. "Slenderman" (on the computer), released in 2012, contained only one location - the forest in which the action took place. In this project, the forest is only one of the levels, but the essence of it has remained the same. First, you need to find a few notes with tips on what to do next, after which the repetition of the previous year will begin - a search for eight drawings, each of which will increase the tension, and the likelihood of an unwanted meeting with Slender. The principle remains the same - constantly look around, and as soon as you see the monster - turn around and run. When you have all the necessary notes in your hands, a video will begin in which Lauren will run away from the Thin Man, fall into the quarry and lose consciousness in the park. She will no longer doubt that the Slenderman exists, but it will not make her life easier.

Transition to the mine

Unlike the original game, you continue your adventure in a new location - now you need to get into the mine through the tunnel. In the mine you will find instructions on how to use the elevator - to activate it you need to turn on the generators. However, everything is not so simple - as soon as the first generator will supply electricity, you will make the company a terrible Slenderman. Moreover, along with him you will be hunted and proxy - all the horror lies in the fact that this proxy will be Kate. But there is nowhere to retreat, so you need to activate all the generators, running away from Slender. With your ex-girlfriend, this method is not effective, because it is very fast and instantly you will overtake if you try to hide. You can withstand two claws. After the first you will begin to limp, but if you do not move for a while, Lauren will come to order.

So how do you deal with Kate? Proxies are afraid of bright light, so if you shine a flashlight on it, it will disappear for a while. When you activate all the generators, the elevator will start to work and you can exit the mine. As you can see, this project is the standard of the game "Slenderman" (3D). So far, no other similar project has been produced that would fully and clearly describe this phenomenon. Flashback

The next chapter of the game is a narrative on behalf of Kate. It begins when Lauren enters the house and begins to watch a video of how her friend was obsessed with the Slenderman. A thin person gets to you, and you have to jump out of the window and run into the forest through which you in the role of Lauren passed in the second chapter.

The last level

You are again playing for Lauren. The game is nearing completion, but it has several endings. When you go into the radio tower, the corpse of a man will fall upon your eyes - most likely, it's a friend of Kate, with whom they recently discussed hallucinations and Slenderman. You have a battery in the flashlight, and on the recorder, which you find at the body of a man, a dispute with Kate is recorded, after which a terrible scream is heard. Suddenly everything ceases, the sound of the opening door, the steps, is heard, and the camera starts to ruffle - this all ends.

But this is not the only finale - there is also an option in which you see that the same boy who you met at the very beginning enters the room. He attacks you, after which you lose consciousness. You wake up in a dimly lit cellar, the boy does not let you out of it, so you need to find a few notes that shed light on everything that's happening. As soon as you read them, you will notice that the output is free. When you get out, you will find yourself in the same burnt house where you found a boy at the beginning of the game, but this time in the corner Kate sits and cries. If you point at her camera, then there will be interference. But there is no other way out - you come to her, after which she attacks you and kills, this becomes clear because of the presence of your legs in the cell on the floor.
