Hip bone

Belt of the lower limbs is called the bone ring - massive and dense, - which forms three pelvic bones, connecting with the sacrum. In an adult, they, fusing together, form a sufficiently strong structure. The sciatic, pubic and ileal pelvic bone only exist until sixteen to eighteen years apart. When they reach the older age, they fuse together. From this moment, one pelvic bone begins to exist in an adult.

At the junction, an acetabulum is formed, which also has the figurative name "vinegar". It is the receptacle of the head of the hip bone. Due to the small size of the cavity, along the edge it is complemented by the joint lip, formed from cartilaginous tissue. Pelvic bone and sacrum are connected by means of articular surfaces located on the bone of the sacrum and iliac bones. Despite the fact that such a structure of the joint is mobile, movement in it is impossible. This is due to reliable fixation of the bone structures with respect to each other by the ligamentous apparatus. One of the iliac formations is the wing. The edge of it, protruding above the waist, is the site for the puncture of the needle when receiving material from the red brain.

Each pelvic bone has branches. They join together and form a locking hole. Through it, from the pelvic cavity, come out important vessels, nerves, and muscles.

On the right and left, the pubic components are connected by means of connective tissue. Thus, the so-called symphysis is formed, characterized by a lack of mobility. The sciatic bones in the lower part are represented by sciatic tubercles.

The structure of the pelvis varies, depending on the sex of the person.

In women, it is wider and lower than that of men. This is due to the childbearing function. In addition, the iliac wings and sciatic bumps in women are more deployed in the sides.

Syndrome of chronic pelvic pain in practice is diagnosed quite often. It should be noted that both women and men are affected.

Pelvic pain is often a diagnosed form of chronic prostatitis. A number of characteristic features are noted. This form of the disease is accompanied by soreness in the area of the external genitalia or perineum, as well as the small pelvis for more than three months.

Given the current data on the development of the syndrome, particular importance belongs to infections, including those transmitted through sexual contact (chlamydia, mycoplasmas, gonococci, trichomonads, in rare cases, fungi, the herpes virus).

The reasons for the condition of soreness in women include the following:

- spikes, formed as a result of inflammation of the genital organs or in the postoperative period ;

- endometriosis;

- various ailments of a chronic nature with a prolonged course;

- myoma of the uterus;

- intrauterine contraception (spiral);

- Anomalies in the development of genital organs, accompanied by a violation of rejection of the uterine mucosa;

- tuberculosis in the genitals;

- soreness during menstrual cycles;

These factors are of a gynecological nature. However, the pain syndrome can also occur against the background of the pathology of the musculoskeletal system. Such pathologies include osteochondrosis (usually lumbosacral), disc herniation, arthrosis of the joint of the sacrococcygeal zone, bone tumors, metastasis, lesions in the forearm and others.

The emergence and development of a painful syndrome can be triggered by abnormalities of the gastrointestinal tract, the nervous system (peripheral), the urinary system, and the formation of neoplasms in the retroperitoneal space.
