Headache and its types

Almost all people refer to the headache as something temporary and frivolous, trying to drown it with painkiller pills, and then forget about this temporary discomfort. A person turns to a specialist with a complaint of headaches only in extreme cases, when they become too frequent and unbearable.

Headache differs in its wide variety. It can be aching, prolonged, unbearable or harsh, the pain can be felt only, for example, in the temporal part, or in the entire head.

There is another no less common cause of headache - intoxication. It manifests itself in the period of acute hangover syndrome or poisoning. There are also many other factors that can cause headaches in an absolutely healthy person. Among them, thermal or sunny impact, a pungent smell, car exhausts, carbon monoxide , etc.

It should be remembered that repeatedly recurring (chronic) headache not only can cause serious anxiety and discomfort, but in some cases it can be a signal of a dangerous disease. Changes in the nature of headaches, for example, if recently the pain was not frequent and easy, but now they have become almost permanent and strong - this is a serious reason to immediately seek medical help.
