GOT7: Biography and Creativity

Prehistory

At GOT7, the biography begins also quite unusually.

In 2012, the debut of JJ Project, which consisted of two members - JB (JB) and JR (Junior), took place. Prior to this, the guys for 2.5 years were trainees of the company JYP Entertaiment. And they passed solely thanks to their attractive appearance and good dancing abilities. Initially, the newcomers were shown in a music video, which did not make much impression. In 2012, the guys were casted for shooting in the musical drama "Obsessed with a Dream-2". And both played the main roles. Dorama, like the first part, enjoyed great popularity, and mostly because of the guys. After such success and it was decided to create a duet JJ Project.

In May, the promotion of a new project began, during which were produced photo- (both joint, and each participant separately), as well as video teasers. Soon after this followed the release of the mini-album and the performance of the guys on stage M! Countdown. The video on the title track of the album Bounce took first place in the charts of South Korea and attracted the attention of visitors to YouTube. Then followed the promotion of the album and participation in joint concerts with other stars. However, after that, until the spring of 2013, the children did not have any news. In the spring, it was announced that they would shoot in the new drama "When a man is in love." Junior got an episodic role, and JB has played the younger brother of the main character. Around the group there were a lot of rumors: that they would be dissolved, that the composition of boyz-band would be updated. However, devoted fans stubbornly hoped for the release of the new album.

In early January 2014, it became known that the guys will join the new GOT7 team together with five more members. Fortunately, the style of GOT7 (music in particular) corresponded to their previous direction of performance.

Debut

At first the newcomers were shown in one of the episodes of the entertaining show WIN. Later, in January, all members of the group were introduced to the public, and on January 15 a clip was released on the debut track Girls, girls, girls. On the same day, the first rendezvous took place, where they presented three songs from their album, the release of which was scheduled for January 20. The official promotion began on January 16 with the performance of the guys at M! Countdown.

Simultaneously with the promotion of the album, the guys were shot in the mini-show "The Real GOT7", in which they showed how GOT7 (the songs of the collective liked themselves) were rehearsing, preparing to release the album and participating in various events related to its promotion. And then it went and went.

No, the GOT7 group did not win any awards, but it aroused interest due to the unusual choreography: in dance numbers, great attention is paid to the use of various tricks and elements from martial arts.

As of April 2014, the release of a full-length program called IGOT7 was planned, but due to the collapse of the ferry and subsequent mourning, the terms were postponed. As a result, the broadcast started only at the end of May.

In May the official name was given to the fan club of the guys. It is interesting that the fans took part in it: a contest was created, taking part in which, everyone could put forward their own version of the name and design for light. The club became known as IGOT7.

At the end of June the band again appears on stage with absolutely new material. The guys are releasing a minicar with the uncomplicated name GOT Love. During the promotion they perform at many music venues, arrange fan meetings with fans and shoot the second season of "Real GOT7".

In October GOT7 (Korean band) will make its debut in Japan, and in the middle of November the guys release their first full-length album Identify, which included 11 songs. Then it became known about the beginning of the first big tour around Asia GOT7 Asia Tour, the beginning of which was scheduled for the end of January 2015. In January, there is a web-dorama with all members of the group ("Knight of Dreams"). In addition, GOT7 songs are recorded for the rest of this series.

After the end of the tour, the guys did not rest on their laurels, but continued to work hard and already in July they pleased the fans with the new mini album Just Right, and in September another MAD miniciel came out. Now fans are looking forward to the release of the full-length album.
