Gel "Kontraktubeks" - instructions, composition, indications for use

The preparation "Kontraktubeks" is produced in metal tubes of 50 g. It is a light brown gel, which is easily spread over the skin and absorbed into it without residue. Its composition details the instruction attached to the preparation "Kontraktubeks": liquid extract of onions, sodium heparin, allantoin, auxiliary substances.

Heparin sodium is an anticoagulant of direct action, produced from animal raw materials. This is a soluble powder without a smell. It is taken internally with diseases of the cardiovascular system, while its external application is wider: these are traumas, and complications after operations on veins, edema and infiltrates, thrombophlebitis. The impact of sodium heparin on scars and scars is directly related to its properties: it prevents the formation of blood clots and absorbs the already existing ones, keeps moisture in the tissues of the scar. Onion extract has anti-inflammatory effect, and allantoin - keratolytic: the horny layer of the skin with its softening and tearing away, which leads to a gradual smoothing of scars and scars. In addition, allantoin improves tissue regeneration, has a local antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effect. Thus, the gel "Kontraktubeks" (the instruction says this) has a complex effect on the skin, which contributes to the improvement of its appearance: scars, post acne, scars after burns and operations become much less pronounced.

Gel "Kontraktubeks" is indicated for use in various types of scars - hypertrophic, keloid. The first of them appear as a result of excessive formation in the place of injury of connective tissue. The hypertrophic scar has a bright pink color and appreciably rises above the skin. Most often, this kind of scar is formed on wounds, the healing of which passed with certain deviations (for example, inflammation). As for keloid scars, this is the most unfavorable variant of tissue healing, a pathological reaction of the organism, the causes of which are unknown to this day. Like hypertrophied, keloid scars are very noticeable, they have a bright color. Their difference lies in the fact that they can grow significantly after wound healing, and their appearance after surgical treatment is usually only worsened.

To date, there is enough evidence that the drug "Kontraktubeks", the instruction to which recommends its use in the aforementioned problems, has a significant effect on keloids and hypertrophic scars. In their treatment, especially if the scars are old and dense, after applying the preparation, an airtight bandage is applied from above (from conventional dressings, fixed from above with polyethylene and adhesive plaster). It is desirable to preheat and soften the skin - for example, take a warm shower. You can apply this bandage for the whole night. The gel is rubbed into the scars or scars in a thin layer 2-3 times a day, with light movements. With fresh scars treatment is 4 weeks. As for old scars, everything is much more complicated here: it may take several months to achieve a visible effect.
