Floor plastic skirting boards are designed specifically to hide the installation gap between the floor covering and the walls. They replaced more traditional wooden products. In the composition of this substance special stabilizers are added, which makes the product as resistant to moisture, ultraviolet and aggressive chemicals that you can use for cleaning.

Since the plinth floor plastic, whose height can be from three centimeters, does not absorb moisture, it is not afraid of rot and corrosion. Such a product is easier to pick up by color, which will be optimally suited to the chosen flooring. The plinth can be painted under a tree, imitating a natural structure. Installation

It is important to ensure that the cable placed in the plinth is not accidentally punched with a nail or a screw. However, the cable does not need to be laid during the installation of the skirting board, it can be done later. It will be necessary to loosen the screws, in order to install it into the groove.

The process of installing skirting boards starts from the corner of the room. They are screwed with screws at a distance of approximately 40-70 centimeters. When there is a need to connect with the angle, a suitable piece is measured and set in its place. It is worth considering and millimeters covering technical gaps in the connectors.

When installing this way, remember that the cost of clips is not included in the price of the skirting itself. The surface of the walls should be smooth, otherwise the product will not hold. The most aesthetic and practical is the method of fastening with self-tapping screws, since in this case there is a special cable channel.
