Fixed formwork for foundation: device, advantages, disadvantages
To build any building you need a foundation. Often during the construction of the foundation, a formwork is not removable. This technology is universal, as the risk of poor-quality construction of the building decreases at times. In addition, the installation of the base is much easier.
Fixed formwork for the foundation is easy to install, the only thing you should not do is rush. All work must be done according to plan. If you plan to equip a strip foundation, the structure should be installed on a base covered with a layer of waterproofing. The blocks must be mounted in reinforcing bars. Since they are equipped with special grooves, the metal in them will easily enter.
Fixed formwork for the foundation is constructed of several layers of blocks. The first of these is the most important and is responsible for the correct formation of the base. After you have successfully laid three layers, you should start pouring the grout. When installing the formwork, you immediately mark out where the doors, slopes, and other elements will be mounted. In order for the mixture to lie flat, it should be sealed with a deep-seated vibrator.
In appearance, the finished formwork resembles a sandwich, inside of which there are polystyrene sheets. It is also necessary to take care of the binding of the reinforcement in advance, since otherwise the stability of the base will be threatened.
That's all. Non-removable formwork equipment is a simple task, which, however, requires attention, patience and certain skills. But if you are not confident in your abilities, then it is better to entrust this work to a more experienced master.
