First Aid for Electric Shock

First aid in case of electric shock is in several stages and with special care.

When you touch wires and cables that are energized, the muscles shrink convulsively. Therefore, there is no possibility to tear yourself away from the wire. To do this, disconnect the power from the cable by turning off the switch or unscrewing the fuses.

During the implementation of these actions, one should keep in mind some features of this situation. Together with the supply of wires, you can turn off the lighting of the room, so you need to have an additional light source.

Being at a height, the victim may fall when the power is turned off. Therefore, we need to ensure the stability of the unfortunate.

Provision of first aid in case of electric shock can be dangerous because the person separating the victim from the wire himself can get under stress. Do not use wet or metallic objects. You need to arm yourself with a wooden stick or board, because the tree does not conduct an electric current. In addition, the "liberator" must be in rubber gloves and galoshes. If there are no gloves, they will be successfully replaced with dry silk or woolen cloth, and you can stand on dry clothes or some rubber thing. If the victim is dressed in dry clothes, then he can be pulled from the cable for it. In this case, it is necessary to avoid contact with metal objects. When passing a current through the body of the victim under the feet, he needs to put a board to interrupt the flow.

First aid in case of electric shock, voltage above 1000V, it is necessary to turn off the power or, having put on insulating gloves and bots, arm with a barbell or ticks that are designed for such a voltage.

The victim may lose consciousness while separating him from the wire. Therefore it is necessary to stock up with ammonia, and also to feel the pulse and check the breath of a person. If the person is unconscious, then he should be put on the ground, unbuttoned on his clothes, to ensure unimpeded airflow. Then you should bring ammonia and sprinkle a little on the victim's face with water. If necessary, the body needs to be grinded and warmed.

If there is no breath, there is a need for artificial respiration and cardiac massage. Breathing is stimulated by the system "mouth to mouth" or using a special device.

Before the procedure, you need to make sure that breathing does not interfere. Often the tongue sinks or mucus accumulates. To release the oral cavity of the affected person from mucus, turn his head to the side. In the presence of dentures - they should also be removed from the oral cavity.

Then the first aid in case of electric shock is put, putting the victim on his back, releasing his chest from his clothes and putting a roller under his back. The head is thrown back so that the chin and neck are on the same line. Having carried out quick training, you can begin to artificially stimulate breathing. Taking a deep breath, you need to breathe air through your mouth into the lungs of the victim. Action should be discontinued when the chest is sufficiently wide. Do not blow air more than fifteen times a minute.

The first aid to victims of electric current is also carried out in the form of a heart massage . The victim must be laid on a hard surface and sit on the side of it. The hands on one another stack on the last third of the victim's chest. Vigorous tremors of the hands should shift the front wall of the chest four to five centimeters to the spine. Doing this must be very delicate, otherwise you can break the ribs and injure internal organs.

Dynamics of movements should not exceed sixty times per minute. Massage is performed until the patient's pulse appears.

First aid in case of electric shock will be more effective if both methods of rehabilitation combine.
