Preparatory work

In addition, you need to thoroughly clean the walls and ceiling of the mold, if any, and also treat the surface with a specially available antifungal formulation. And further. Create a skeleton

First of all we mount the crate. We mount to the wall (and to the ceiling, if provided for and its finish), metal, as agreed, profile. The step between its elements should be about fifty centimeters on the walls and thirty to forty on the ceiling. The lowest bar is installed close to the floor, the upper one is strictly according to the level of the edges of the panels. All manipulations are carried out using dowels. The next stage is the installation of special corners and guide profiles that will mask the transitions in the corners of the room. For fastening it is best to take liquid nails.

Mount panels

PVC paneling (or other kind of panels) is attached to the crate by self-tapping screws. We must start from the most prominent angle. Measure carefully the required length, cut off the excess with the construction knife and insert, orienting yourself to the level, into the first panel that is in the corner. We fix it to the profile. The second panel, also trimmed in size, is inserted into the groove first, snapping, and its second edge is also screwed to the profile. And so to the corner. The latter can be more than the remaining space on the wall. Well, cut it in size, the benefit of PVC sheet panels are cut without much difficulty. By exactly the same algorithm, all walls are removed. In the same places where there will be, say, a mixer or socket, it is necessary to cut through the corresponding hole size first.

Similarly, the ceiling is removed. But the joints between him and the walls are then, after finishing work, masked by a ceiling skirting board, which can be glued to the same liquid nails without problems .

As you can see, for the home master, who knows how to hold a drill and a hammer in his hands, the procedure of finishing will not create any difficulties.

Tips for last

All work should be done at a temperature that should be at least fifteen degrees.

Never install panels only recently brought from the store. As a rule, in the storage rooms where they are stored, the temperature is low enough, so give the finishing material at least a few days to "get used" to the home conditions.

When purchasing panels, always take them with a reserve, because losses during the installation are inevitable. At the same time, do not buy by sight. Carefully calculate the right amount of material, especially taking into account the height of the room, so that later you do not have a mountain of unnecessary cuttings.
