For this breed is characterized by a cumbersome, wide, stocky and elongated body on short legs. Back slightly saggy, rounded groats - these are typical characteristics. Rabbit lop-eared ram has a unique kind of head: a wide forehead, a short, slightly curved nose with a Roman tubercle, it has strong jaws. According to the breed, his ears hang. They should be round and plump with an ideal size of 40-45 cm, hanging on either side of the head. In the middle of the head there is a small growth that looks like a crown or a ram's forehead. From here he got his name.

Despite the fact that the rabbit lop-eared sheep is represented by a variety of colors, the German breed completely eliminates the silvery-gray color.

This is a precocious meat breed, and it is believed that the meat obtained from them is of very high quality. They are bred mainly for this purpose. Skins of these animals are also appreciated, but to a lesser extent, although their fur is soft, dense and thick. In our country they do not have such a spread as the Europeans.

Bunnies are not very prolific, they can bring in from one to three children from 3 to 6 children. Newborns are strong health, rarely sick.
