The tail is of medium length, pointed at the tip. The wool of folds and straights is short, very soft and silky to the touch, dense and well-fitting to the body. Color Scotty can be different: striped (spotted, brindle, marble - a variety of tabby-drawings), multicolored (tortoiseshell, harlequin, van) and monophonic (black, white, chocolate, cream, blue). The ears of the folds are widely set and tightly pressed to the head: their upper part covers the auricle, giving the animal a special charming look. Sometimes animals come across with multicolored eyes, especially such a sign is found in animals of white color. Scottish have a calm, balanced temper, they are unobtrusive and intelligent. Their strong psyche allows you to buy and educate them in families with young children - they are always friends and will be able to find a common language with any household.

Representatives of this breed differ in that they are completely non-aggressive and not vindictive, they will not behave in an inappropriate manner in revenge. Cats of Scottish breed are affectionate and sociable, love "company", but at the same time they easily tolerate forced loneliness while masters are at work. If the cat is badly treated or offended, it is usually retired, but almost never bites or scratches. As you can see, the Scots are very calm, peace-loving and accommodating, one might even say, loving.
