A year after the successful debut exo, the Korean group released the first full-fledged albums: Hoho Kiss and Hoho Hug, for Korean and Chinese audiences respectively. But there was something that no one could foresee: ECHO-M leader Chris decides to leave the boy band and sues SM Entertainment, wishing to break the contract. What became the reason for the departure of a young man, is still not known and is unlikely to emerge anywhere.

The band's concert took place without Chris's participation, the scandal seemed to subside, the fans were poured ... And another bomb explodes: in October, Lu Khan announced his resignation from the group and also sued. The official reason for leaving the group was declared fatigue. Perhaps to calm the audience, it was decided to combine ECHO-K and EHO-M into one group, as SM Entertainment announced at a press conference on October 13. From this moment the boyz-band is officially called the ECHO-L. The choice of the letter is not accidental: it is L that lies between K and M, and symbolizes LOVE - the love of the participants to each other and their fans, the desire to continue to move forward and give joy to their new songs.
In March 2015, the second big concert of the band is held in Seoul, the second album EXODUS is released, the main single Call me baby brings 17 awards ... And in the middle of April the band was again furious: there was the first information about Tao's desire to leave the boyz band. As a result, the young man in August filed a claim for termination of the contract and left the ECHO, taking up solo activities, like Chris and Lu Han.
At the moment there are 9 participants in the group. And the fans hope that there will not be any more withdrawals.
