Air Pressure Monitoring Sensor In Tires - Pleasant Trifle Or Maintenance Auto

When every day at the wheel, you have to keep an eye on the technical condition of the car. But when you're in a hurry, and in general, it's hard to run around the car in checking the air pressure standards in the skates. And the procedure must be done, because it depends on it, at least fuel consumption, as a maximum traffic safety. After all, at low or high pressure there is a high probability of a breakdown of the wheel, and if the pressure in the skates is unequal, car can be turned aside, which in turn can lead to a car crash.

Tire pressure is an important factor

The normalization of air pressure in tires is an important factor, which is often undeservedly ignored by car owners. So at the raised pressure there is an incorrect development of a protector, and the risk of "explosion" of a wheel doubles. In this case, the suspension perceives the load even from small unevennesses of the road, i.e. Everything becomes much tougher, which inevitably affects the resource of the entire car.

Insufficient pressure in the tires is also a harmful phenomenon, because in this case the rubber is produced several times faster, and the entire ramp is simply "chewed". Low tire pressure is the main reason for fuel overexpense, which, at a high price, is "very expensive".

The uneven pressure in the slopes is embodied not only in the above-mentioned consequences, but also in the deviation of the rectilinear motion of the machine, which is critically dangerous at bends and high speeds.

Sensors for monitoring tire pressure

For most car owners, tire pressure monitoring is reduced to the periodic pumping of ramps by a pump or compressor, and the control is carried out by means of an integrated pressure gauge, which very often deceives. Here also it is necessary from time to time to call in at the service station for maintenance of the car and checking the manometer.

But, here's the problem - if it's so important to keep the air pressure in the tires in the norm, then it is necessary to carry out control as often as possible. And if you are on the road all the time, you will not run around the car with a manometer at each stop. Of course not. And pressure control by the pump manometer during movement is not at all possible - utopia. There were several solutions to the problem of monitoring tire pressure.

Cheap way:

There are on sale caps (sensor of control) on the spools with marking, i.e. They show the tire pressure. At a normal pressure of 2 atm. They "show" a green "flag", when the pressure drops to 1.7 atm. - yellow, and with a decrease in pressure to an unacceptable value of 1.3 atm. - Red. It turned out quite convenient and easy to use - changed the standard caps and periodically go around the machine to see the coveted green flag. But, alas, this system does not solve the problem of controlling the pressure when driving.

Expensive way, but the most effective:

Electrical pressure control sensor - they periodically measure the pressure and send information to the common registration module. Such sensors allow you to control the pressure regardless of the movement of the car, and there are a lot of modifications for them today. Some are simply installed instead of caps, others require parsing of the wheel, because Are installed instead of the nipple, while others are generally part of the on-board control. Therefore, the selection of such a "device" for your car is a personal matter.
