Euthanasia is a humane step or a deliberate killing?

Despite the fact that life is beautiful and amazing, the only thing that is guaranteed to a person during life is that he will die. However, no one can accurately predict the day of his death. Even the deadly patient, who suffers unimaginable suffering, can not know when his last hour will come. This is known only to a desperate suicide, and even then not 100%. If his intention is not fully realized, a serious form of disability is possible. There is another option of deliberate withdrawal from life - euthanasia. This is such a medical practice, according to which an incurably sick person, suffering severe suffering, has the right to resort to the services of doctors with a view to the fastest transition to another world.

The Holy Scripture says that God does not send a person greater trials than he is able to survive. At any moment, a miracle of healing can occur. Is it right for a person to dispose of his own life, if he does not understand the end of its meaning? And are the doctors who gave the oath of Hippocrates the right to prematurely take life? Euthanasia is a concept that completely runs counter to the principles of medicine. The great ancient Greek physician and the recognized father of medicine Hippocrates said that he would never give anyone a lethal remedy and would not indicate the path to it. In ancient Sparta, infirm patients and weak babies were thrown off the cliff. The Nazis at one time also practiced the theory of "unnecessary people", and where are they now?

Euthanasia is a procedure that has two kinds of exercise: passive and active. The meaning of the passive is that physicians, upon the consent of the person himself or his closest relatives, stop the therapy of sustaining the life of a hopelessly sick person. The active method consists in the introduction of doomed medications, providing painless and quick death. Today, euthanasia is a legal procedure. It is committed (subject to strict rules) in countries such as Australia, Belgium, the Netherlands, the USA (Washington and Oregon), Switzerland and Sweden. Supporters of this technique consider it humane and argue that the task of physicians is not to support the sufferings of the patient, but to facilitate them.

Sleeping animals is a difficult and painful test for their masters. Pets tend to live less than their owners. Therefore, people are fully responsible for the quality of their lives. Euthanasia of cats and dogs in Russia is a legal procedure. It is legally assigned to animals if their aggressive and uncontrolled behavior is a threat to others. It can be caused by incurable diseases that cause the pet pain and suffering, as well as congenital pathologies and injuries incompatible with normal life activity. Sleeping animals are also prescribed if they detect infectious diseases that are dangerous to people.

When the only way out of this situation is, as they say in some cases, "life-giving euthanasia," this procedure is carried out in two stages. First, anesthesia is effected by suppressing the activity of the central nervous system. Usually, an injection of substances of lithopental and propofol is done for this. It starts to work for 1-2 minutes. After 10-15 minutes, when the depth of anesthesia suppresses all the basic reflexes, they begin the second stage of euthanasia. An animal in a state of deep anesthesia is given a drug that helps stop breathing. For the next 3-25 minutes, this leads to cardiac arrest and death. The doctor should not leave the patient until he ascertains a 100% death. The hosts should philosophically relate to the fact of separation, because this is the way the world works, and not by us it was invented. The important thing is that the pet will always remain in our memory.
