A pessimist - who is this: a realist or a loser?

Things are not as bad as you imagine, everything is much worse ... And this is not a joke, but a reality that needs to be changed stably to melancholy people. Why? Let's understand: pessimist - who is this? A realist, to whose opinion it is necessary to listen, or a miserable loser who puts verbal sticks in the wheel of all those who dare to take decisive action?

To begin with, let's define the term "pessimist". Who is it? A person with characteristics and qualities that are expressed in necessarily negative judgments about the events of life. In the Russian language this word came in thanks to Latin. Pessimus in translation means "the worst."

Pessimism - a view of life under a certain, very narrow angle of view, when any development of events unfolds, in the opinion of such a person, in the most gloomy scenario.

The pessimist is characterized by indecisiveness, a fear of making a mistake, hence the critical attitude to the actions of the people around him, a negative viewpoint on the environment. These features and determine the mental processes of the individual, directly responsible for the actions of the individual. When a person believes that trouble is for him - events from the category of "always" and luck is "never", treating them as constantly acting circumstances, he is undoubtedly a pessimist. Who will deny it, probably just found out himself in an unattractive portrait, but does not dare to admit it.

To failure, pessimists give, according to their custom, some kind of universal explanation, while failure has happened in quite a certain area. For example, something like: "I knew it, it always goes wrong with me, otherwise it could not be ...".

There is no dilemma for scientists: a pessimist who is a realist or a loser. This is a person who, more often than not, deals with troubles, but with an unexpected side for the pessimist.

These are, firstly, depressions that persecute the pessimist not by the will of fate, but through the fault of a person living in constant anxiety. Secondly, a negativist, whether he is a sideman in the forehead, is much harder to succeed in any undertaking. The third component of the pessimist's failures is a consequence of previous factors. The damaged nervous system and poor health, and, perhaps, worse than the person himself can believe.

Optimism and pessimism have cardinally different effects on health. Negative-minded people are 70% more likely to develop a heart attack than optimists. And premature death - by 60%. In addition, permanent pessimism exacerbates any, even the easiest stressful situation that all contemporaries are exposed to. And this has a disproportionate effect on the well-being: in increased amounts, hormones cortisol and adrenaline are thrown into the blood, which in turn leads to an increase in blood pressure and blood viscosity. And this is the prerequisite for the development of a heart attack.

Even quitting smoking pessimist is much harder than an optimist, which also does not make a person calmer and healthier.

Human pessimism, as such, promotes the support of realism in others. But this back side of the medal, as well as most often the higher intellect of the pessimistic personality, is not worth the price that is laid for it. Therefore, one should take advantage of his ability to think for himself for good - quality optimism can and should be learned at any age.
