Edible mushroom - meadow
Meadow gum is an edible plate mushroom. His body is rather small, weighs about a gram. The diameter of his cap, depending on the age of the fungus - from two to eight centimeters. Its surface is smooth. As the growth grows, the shape of the cap changes from a hemispherical to a flat one and spreads out, in the center of it there is a blunt tubercle. When dried, the mushrooms become cup-shaped. The edges of the cap are very uneven and sometimes transparent.
The old meadow horn has a fairly stiff and fibrous stalk. Its flesh is whitish or pale yellow with a fine structure. The old mushroom has a light, slightly sweetish taste, a peculiar smell, similar to the smell of a carnation or a very bitter almond.
Honey mushrooms are saprophytic mushrooms. They grow on ordinary soil in rows, circles or arcs. They can be collected from the end of May to the end of October. Prefers open grassy places, such as vegetable gardens, gardens, meadows, roadsides, fringes, ditches and ravines.
On the meadow, another representative of the fungi is very similar, the colibia is leaved. It is conditionally edible. Colibia is distributed mainly in forests of deciduous, mixed and coniferous type. Its main difference from meadow is a hollow leg, a rather unpleasant smell and pale blades. However, there is a more dangerous resemblance to a poisonous fungus - a whitish talker. Between them there is a very strong similarity, and not only the external. They can even grow just like a meadow hood, forming circles.
Meadow mushrooms are very useful. They contain marasmic acid, which helps the body fight many pathogens, for example, such as Staphylococcus aureus.
