In connection with the current political situation, when the favorite vacation destinations for Russians, such as the coasts of Turkey and Egypt, were temporarily inaccessible to them, and trips to certain countries of North Africa became unsafe, an influx of tourists to the resorts of the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus began. This was facilitated by a significant improvement in the infrastructure of the resort city of Sochi. He underwent modernization on the eve of the Winter Olympics held here in 2014. The economy of the Krasnodar Territory from this only grew in terms.

Economic sanctions, in particular, the ban on the importation of certain types of food from abroad, along with the relatively low by European standards of income levels of the majority of the inhabitants of the country, make it necessary to purchase Russian groceries of our compatriots.

Thanks to this, the economy of the Krasnodar Territory is developing quite well and rapidly. Some products can not be obtained on the territory of the country anywhere except for the Kuban, therefore one can speak of the artificial creation of a natural monopoly among the producers of the region for the production of certain types of goods. In the chemical industry, in addition to the production of paint and rubber products, special attention should be paid to the production of fertilizers. In its own way, a full cycle has developed on the territory of the region. What does this mean? For the needs of one complex, in this case AIC, all subsidiary industries are located in one region, which significantly reduces the cost of raw materials and other components.

Transport sphere

There are 8 ports of international importance in the region, all of them are open all year round. After the annexation of the territory of Crimea to Russia, there was a need for regular communication with the newly formed Russian republic, bypassing Ukraine. To some extent, the economy of the Krasnodar region has felt it, but it still continues to stand at the usual level.
