"Do not be born beautiful": the actors who were involved in the film

When in 2005 a new television series appeared on the screens, few expected such success. Annually various TV channels present their novelties to the audience, and one of them was "Do not be born beautiful". Actors for the series, which was based on a Colombian novel about an unhappy but kind girl, were selected especially carefully. As the creators told, the role of the protagonist claimed a huge number of girls. Before them was the task of finding among them the one from which it would be possible to make an ugly duckling that would turn into a swan by the end. So beautiful that the viewer should not have doubts that the handsome playboy Zhdanov really loved him. After all, the story that appears on the screen is as old as the world. Smart, but ugly girl, comes to work as a secretary in a prestigious firm, engaged in creating fashionable clothes. Her efforts do not go unnoticed, while she falls in love with the head of this company, the young and handsome Andrei Zhdanov. And he responds to her in return, but soon it turns out that for him she is only a pawn in a dishonest game. But the girl does not give up and eventually achieves its goal - she marries a beloved man.

The company "Amedia" has built various pavilions at the ball bearing plant, where they were shooting "Do not be born beautiful". Actors, many of which before these filming were little known to viewers, instantly became popular. Of course, some of them have already been shot in various TV series, like, for example, Artem Semakin, who, while studying at the Shchukin school, played a schoolboy-slut in the "Simple Truths".

However, some of them were known mainly for their theatrical roles long before the series "Do not be born beautiful." Actors Nelly Uvarova and Pyotr Krasilov work in the RAMT, and performances with their participation always gather full rooms. In 2002, Peter received the honorary "Seagull" for the role of Erast Fandorin.

In addition to the young people, the famous Soviet actors were involved in the series. "Did not be born beautiful" gathered under his wing the favorites of the older generation. This is George Taratorkin, the brilliant Rodion Raskolnikov, who made the whole country to empathize with him, and Olga Ostroumova, in whose Zhenka Kamelkov from Stanislav Rostotsky's film "The Dawns Here Are Quiet", all the boys in the 70s of the last century were in love. And now these actors perfectly played the roles of the main character's parents.

A wonderful friendly atmosphere developed during the creation of the series "Do not be born beautiful." The actors Grigory Antipenko and Yulia Takshina were so imbued with the romantic mood of the film that they began to meet after the shooting. This beautiful couple attracted the attention of journalists, and after the birth of Ivan's son in 2007, the actors gave interviews to many glossy magazines. Two years later, Yulia gave her elect one more son, and two years later the couple announced their rupture. Grigory, who received the "Telesvestz" award for his role as Andrei Zhdanov, is actively filming in the cinema, and in recent years has entered the listener for higher directing courses. Julia is also quite in demand. The actors have maintained good relations and are raising children, despite the articles in the yellow press.

For many, this test for strength was the series "Do not be born beautiful." Actors who worked in a busy schedule, despite everything respond to this project with warmth in their voice.

And audience sympathies were divided, because one part of the audience preferred a good young man Misha, who courted the main character. The second dreamed of the reunification of Katya with Andrei Zhdanov, who had to realize all his wrong actions and change. And of course, it all ended well.
