Horrors about maniacs: more blood, less sense?

The category of films about not quite healthy mentally people at many kinomanov causes a puzzled shrug of shoulders. Often you can hear comments in the spirit: "These horrors about maniacs are removed by sick people for the same sick audience" - and fans of the genre readily respond to these attacks with the phrase: "Do not like it - do not look." If you understand, the plot of films of this nature is really rarely different depth, and the main emphasis is on entertainment and "succulence" of what is happening. For example, the famous slasher film "The House of 1000 Corpses" wants to be watched simply because it is interesting, what else can the members of an unhealthy family do for their victims, and not because they are interested in a plot that is practically absent here. Basically, the horrors of maniacs, murderers, runaway madmen ("House of Fear") and cruel neighbors ("The Girl Against") tell unpretentious stories seasoned with medium acting and an abundance of atmospheric scenery.

Evil wins good, or Syndrome "sorry for a bird"

Often the director plays on a natural sense of justice, forcing innocent and seemingly good people to suffer for a long time from the confluence of circumstances. In this way, the film "Paradise Lake" forces you to just blaze with anger because of the ending, in which the evil remains unpunished. This movie usually leaves a pretty unpleasant deposit, and the second time you will not want to revise it. Approximately the same impression I had after watching the movie "Fear", where the malicious, spoiled uncle does not get what he deserves. If the Disney movies refuse to watch because of the sneer and too far removed from the realities of life, then the horrors of maniacs and serial killers cause a fear precisely because of excessive cruelty and a sense of injustice. In this genre, evil almost always triumphs, and the happy end is perceived by the audience almost as an insult. At the same time there is an opinion that, no matter how diverse the genre is, "horrors", thrillers about maniacs who take revenge for the universe without any reason, they look mostly unsatisfied with life, aggressive people. However, for them, this is just an emotional outlet and a portion of adrenaline, and the nervous psyche is much more pressured by the nervous chief than by a separate genre of cinema.

Such different, but equally dangerous

However, not all the horrors of maniacs shredding all living things to the right and to the left, suffer from superficiality and the lack of ideas or morals. Favorite multi-series franchise "Saw" differs thoughtfulness and non-linearity of the plot, and the main character can boast of a fully justified motivation. Here, one can not even say with certainty where good is, and where evil is, and ingenious scenes of violence almost do not distract from philosophical reasoning. What can not you say, for example, about the movie "Beloved", where the main motive for the actions of an abnormal family is in children's complexes and an increased level of aggression. In general, the horrors of maniacs and cruel killers are very diverse, that's why every spectator can choose a picture to his taste, armed with the motto "this is just a movie".
