Day of Motor Transport Workers in Russia

The Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR in 1980 issued another decree. According to him on October 1, a new holiday for Russians was established. From this day, professional (and not only) motorists were able to officially celebrate their achievements and successes.

When celebrate the day of road transport workers

First of all, it is a holiday of specialists, managers and workers whose professional activities are directly related to cars. It's not only those who sit behind the wheel, but also those who help them in everything. Often on this day corporate holidays are organized by transport, cargo and passenger companies. However, ordinary citizens who have a "four-wheeled friend" are not averse to celebrating this day.

For many years, the Day of Automobile Transport Workers is celebrated annually in October. The last Sunday of this autumn month is officially recognized as a weekend.

Who is this - motorist

This profession is not so many years. The first car appeared only a little over a century ago. Meanwhile, the profession of a motorist today is very common. Every day a huge number of people around the world are making a lot of effort to make motorized wheeled mechanisms work for the benefit of all mankind. It was they who deserved the right to celebrate the Day of Automobile Transport Workers once a year.

Can we imagine today's reality without machines? Of course not. It is these "iron horses" that transport goods, goods and products. Thanks to them, we can move easily and quickly over long distances. No industry can do without cars.

Those who celebrate Motorists Day in Russia know perfectly well that road transport played a significant role in our history. In the times of the Great Patriotic War it was thanks to the machines that it was possible to quickly deliver ammunition to the point, to transport the wounded and not only to the hospital.

How it all began

In 1896 the first Russian car was introduced. Meanwhile, the serial car was only released in 1909. From that moment the history of domestic motor transport began.

The pioneer in the automotive industry is the Russo-Baltic Plant, which manufactures Rousseau-Balt machines. This transport was considered very reliable, and this quality allowed him to repeatedly win the rally and long-distance runs.

Legendary, known to every car "Victory" - the pride of the Soviet automobile industry. For the first time, the Russians saw it in 1946.

However, for a long time there was no such holiday as the Day of Road Transport Workers. The day of the motorist, as we already wrote above, was officially established only in 1980. After that, in 1996, the President of the Russian Federation issued a decree, according to which this holiday was renamed. Now it was called - Day of workers of motor transport and road facilities. However, the date of the celebration was not changed. Thus, the state authorities wanted to combine two complementary industries. But the idea was not successful, and in 2000 it was decided that motorists would celebrate their professional holiday as before - on the last Sunday in October, and road workers a little earlier - in the third.

Where to celebrate

This holiday is celebrated by Belarusians and Ukrainians. However, in these states it is still united with Day of the road worker. Only Motorist Day in Russia is celebrated separately. In other former Soviet republics, this holiday was either postponed to other dates, or abolished altogether.

Competition "Woman in the garage"

Moderator: Many women are unhappy that their husbands often disappear in the garage. But after all, charming ladies can get carried away by cars, and then celebrate together with us the Day of Automobile Transport Workers. And to prove it to you, I want to invite our ladies to participate in the contest.

For this, two women's teams are formed. They are given boxes, in which lie small-sized car parts. It can be mirrors, thermostats, bearings, etc. Each team should quickly identify the competitors, name it and say what it is for.

Host: Our ladies, of course, can understand the man's business. But when we try to understand their female tricks, then everything becomes much more complicated. Imagine the situation - the inspector of the traffic police and a charming infringer of traffic rules.

On the scene appears a respectable traffic cop with a tummy and a bright blonde on his heels.

Traffic policeman (G): We are violating, then, is it a citizen? What happened, then? Why are we flying at a speed of 170?

Blonde (B): Well, understand, my sandals are my favorite ...

G: Did I ask you about the sandals? Your rights, please!

B (rummaging in a huge handbag): Something I can not find them! Help me please.

G (for a long time she turns everything in her bag and grabs her head): How many do you have here?

B: Lacquer № 46, 24, 57, 14, lipstick № 317, 208, 65, 71 (etc. - the list can be continued).

G: Yeah! What is there just no!

B: How clever you are! And also a good tool against rapists.

G (pulls the nunchak from the bag): What's that ?!

B: Well, also from rapists ... magic wands.

G: And where is the resolution?

B: I do not have this. Boris has it. But he did not need these sticks, so he decided to give them to me.

G (getting condoms): Girl! Well, it must be in the medicine cabinet!

B: But this is also from rapists!

G (looks into the bag with surprised eyes): And this is what ?!

B (giggles): It's for rapists to get scared.

G: You are a dangerous lady, as I see it. Well, this is what (from the huge bag there are tweezers for the eyelashes).

B: Oh, this is such a cool thing. The most brand. She can curl her eyelashes. By the way, I can make you! (Tries to take away the accessory, but the traffic cop does not give and takes out the glue "Moment", packed in a cellophane bag from the bag)

G: What's this? Do you still ?!

B: Oh, what are you talking about. I stuck the heel on my favorite sandals. By the way, that's exactly why my foot got stuck to the gas pedal!

At this point, the girl starts to call the phone, and she answers.

B: Borenka. Well, do not swear, my teddy bear. I'm just here your children were detained (the inspector of the traffic police is changing his face, his knees trembling). To the phone? Well, of course, we'll give you the tube right now.

G (into the phone): Good health! Yes sir! Yes! Of course!

B (picking up the phone and stroking the traffic cop on the shoulder): Relax. All already, freely! (With difficulty he tears off his foot from the floor) Exactly! Well, as I did not think! It is necessary to stick to the pedal and a second heel to brake too on time!

The car is considered to be one of the most useful human inventions. The love of cars and became a guarantee that in the modern world there was this holiday - Day of the motorist. For a hundred and a few years, the car has changed a lot. Today it is indispensable in all spheres of our life.
