Diplomatic Conference in Geneva

At the diplomatic conference held in Geneva in 1949, several conventions were discussed. They claimed the existence of so-called hospital areas and territories for sick military personnel who were injured and under the protection of the Red Cross. Also discussed were hospital and peaceful areas and places organized to protect the wounded, crippled, old people, people with disabilities, children under 15, women with babies under 7, and pregnant women from the consequences of hostilities.
