Covering dentures: advantages, disadvantages and peculiarities of use

Dental prosthetics is a part of dental science, thanks to which a person can again find a beautiful smile and the ability to chew food well, even if he has only a small number of his own teeth. And they require careful care. That is, they also need to be cleaned and stored in a disinfectant fluid (if you remove the prosthesis every night). In addition, sometimes or permanently you will need to use special fixing pastes, thanks to which the design is fixed as hard as possible for the whole day.

In order to install cover prostheses, it is necessary to carry out some procedures for strengthening the tissues on which the product will rest. Before this, one must completely cure all infectious foci in the mouth, remove the jaws, thanks to which the technicians will make a natural bridge. Each prosthesis is made individually. It can be either a removable or non-removable composition. There are options for combining structures.

Cover teeth prosthesis, the price of which is about 300 dollars and above, is established after careful preparation of the supporting roots. For fixing, specific hooks made of metal are used, as well as the corresponding adhesive (for permanent structures). It should be noted that the manufacture of such products can take a little time (one to two weeks). As for the installation, it takes only a few hours. All procedures can be performed under anesthesia, if desired.

Despite the high cost of a cover prosthesis, it is very popular and most in demand among patients with a problem of lack of teeth.
