Countries in which the lowest standard of living and education

The world economy is developing very rapidly, but not at all evenly in different countries. If the US, Australia, many European and Asian countries can boast a high level of social standards, in some African countries the majority of the population is on the brink of survival. The economy in them is on the verge of collapse, unemployment is progressing, almost completely lacking infrastructure, medicine and education.

Eritrea

This country is among the ten states with a weak economy because of its political instability. Due to constant disputes with neighboring countries and a high level of corruption, Eritrea is practically not developing. The presence of a good climate and the prospects for the development of tourism business does not help much, since the population is mostly illiterate, and the country does not have the necessary infrastructure for development.

Guinea

The industry of this African country is in utter decay. In the bowels of the local lands found many minerals, but the government does not allocate funds for their exploration and production. Only 40% of the population can read, and every fifth woman has not received any education. The country is mired in poverty.

Madagascar

The main sources of income for the local population are agriculture and fishing. The remaining infrastructure sectors, in particular industry and the social sphere, are very backward. Because of this, Madagascar is considered one of the poorest countries in the world.

Nigeria

Ethiopia

In Ethiopia, mostly poor people live. The reasons for this are a weak economy, as well as permanent civil wars. The population suffers from a large number of ailments, because there is practically no healthcare system in the country. Approximately one in three Ethiopians do not know how to read and write.

Malawi

Malawi is a small African state bordering Lake Nyasa. The local soil is quite fertile, so people are mainly engaged in farming. Also in the bowels there are large reserves of uranium and coal. Despite this, due to inefficient governance and high levels of corruption, Malawi remains one of the poorest countries in the world. In addition, more than 10% of the population have AIDS.

Sierra Leone

Another very poor African country is Sierra Leone. Almost half of the local population has no education. The low level of the health system has led to massive illnesses. People survive by growing and selling crops. Because of the lack of industry in Sierra Leone, unemployment is rampant. Almost 70% of the population lives below the poverty line.

Liberia

In this country, the economy for a long time can not develop normally due to political instability and civil wars. The local population is so poor that it barely survives. In cities and villages there is no vital social infrastructure. From time to time, there is a famine here, taking away the lives of adults and children. And all this despite the fact that Liberia has large reserves of gold.

Congo

The second largest state in Africa is one of the poorest in the world. Despite significant deposits of precious stones, diamonds and uranium ore, the local population barely makes ends meet. People are mostly illiterate, and because of the lack of a health system, the average life expectancy does not exceed 55 years. In addition, there are a lot of people in the Congo who suffer from AIDS.

Burundi

This country is considered the most undeveloped in the world. After several civil wars, the economy of the state was completely destroyed, and life - unbearable. The country has practically broken up into several ethnic groups. Half of the population is absolutely illiterate, medicine is practically non-existent. The country is leading the world in terms of the number of people with AIDS. Only one in a hundred people in Burundi knows what the Internet is and has access to it.
