Cooking dorado in the oven

Dorado - the name of a delicious fish that lives in the subtropical and tropical climate of Asia Minor and the Mediterranean. The meat of this fish is incredibly delicious.

Most often, the dorado is panied and fried entirely with the tail and head. For this, of course, you need to select an instance, the size of which allows you to place it on a plate (25-30 cm).

How to cook dorado in the oven

  1. 1. A simple dorado recipe in the oven

To bake the dorado in the oven, you will need (based on three servings):

  1. Fillet Dorado - three plates;
  2. Half a lemon;
  3. Six pieces of potatoes;
  4. Tablespoon of basil;
  5. Half a cup of olive oil. If not, you can use vegetable.

Preparation:

The first thing to do is to defrost the fish fillets, dry it, pour it with lemon juice and sprinkle with spices. After this, leave the Dorado for 10 minutes for marinating.

Rub the fillet with salt, and leave for another 10 minutes.

Boil the potatoes almost to the full, but so that it remains slightly hard.

Pour a small amount of butter into the baking dish, cut the potatoes in circles and lay them on the bottom of the mold.

Cut the onions into thin rings, lightly fry on olive (or any) oil and put the potatoes on top. The next layer is a fish, which must also be poured with oil (so the fish fillet will not dry when baked). Do not cover the form.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and put all the ingredients to bake for 40 minutes. After this time, see if the potato has become rouge from the back side. If so, the dorado in the oven is completely ready. If not, wait some more time until a ruddy crust appears on the potatoes.

  1. 2. Dorado in the oven with mushrooms

Previously, it was believed that mushrooms and fish - not very compatible with each other products. But if you just try to cook such a dish, you will be pleasantly surprised. It's really delicious.

Maybe not every kind of fish fits well with mushrooms, and not every mushroom will approach the fish. But Dorado, which we are talking about today, and ordinary mushrooms - the perfect combination.

Ingredients (for 4-6 servings):

- 4 plates of Dorado fillet;

- 300 grams of champignons;

- one carrot;

2-3 sprigs of parsley;

- 6 tablespoons of mayonnaise;

- pepper, salt, lemon, vegetable oil.

Preparation:

Cut the fish fillets into pieces. Then pepper and salt them. Pour it all with lemon juice.

Lubricate the baking sheet with vegetable oil and lay on it dorado. Finely chop the mushrooms and put them on the fish, sprinkle a little and sprinkle with finely chopped greens.

Grate the carrots on a grater, mix it with mayonnaise and lay them on top of everything.

Heat the oven to 200 degrees and put the fish into it. After about an hour, the Dorado will be completely ready. To make sure of the full readiness, check the carrots: it must necessarily become soft.

Features of cooking dorado in the oven

This fish is especially in harmony with potatoes and olive oil, rather than ordinary vegetable oil. After all, olive is more dense, viscous, with a sweetish taste. It very gently envelops every piece of Dorado, softens its taste, adds a dish of greater charm and warmth.

There are no other features, in principle, no. Prepared Dorado with potatoes, for example, is very simple. And do not try to make the dish more original, just adding additional ingredients. Let the products be a maximum of 3, otherwise you can lose all the harmony and beauty of the dish.

In order to strengthen the effect, fillets are best served in the whole form, that is, without dividing it into servings. And so for each person.
