Thanks to the unique properties of the berries, this product is very useful. And you can prepare it in many different ways.

Everyone knows that blueberries are not a very fragrant fruit. To prepare a good compote of blueberries for the winter, the recipe can be slightly changed. As the initial components for this, take: per liter of water 0.4 kilograms of sugar, as well as 300 grams of blueberries and cherries.
Preparation of the drink, as usual, begins with berries:
- Fruits need to be sorted and completely cleaned from the existing pedicels. After that, the products should be washed with cold water.
- Sterilize the cans using any known method.
- In the prepared dishes put the products, laying them in layers of 3 centimeters, each other. It is better to start with a cherry. The berries must fill the banks to the very "shoulders".
- Separately, prepare the sugar syrup.
- Pour products with hot solution.
- Cover the neck of each jar with a metal lid and put them for sterilization in hot water (for 1 liter - 20 minutes).

Quick and easy
The next recipe is the fastest blueberry compote. The entire process will take no more than half an hour. For the preparation, the following initial ingredients will be needed: 2 liters of water, 2 grams of lemon acid, and 300 grams of blueberries, sugar and apples.
Everything happens very quickly:
- Apples need to be washed, remove the core from them, and then cut the pulp into 4 parts. Do not cut the fruit very finely, otherwise they will turn into a "mash" when cooked.
- Blueberries should be washed and dried. For this, it can be spread on a towel to remove excess moisture.
- Water pour into a deep saucepan, bring to a boil, and then fill in the lemonade and sugar.
- Add the apples and continue to cook the mixture for another 4 minutes.
- Cover the berries and gently mix the contents of the pan.
- Once again bring the composition to a boil and immediately turn off the fire.
- Let the compote steep for a while, then pour it over the cans and roll it up.
Such a cold winter drink will be a real find.
Alternative option
There is another interesting way of how to brew blueberry compote. For this, based on three liters of a ready-made drink, you will need: 400 grams of granulated sugar and 300 grams of fresh berries.
In this case, another process technology is used:
- First, as usual, you need to go through and wash the blueberry. This berry is very tender, so you should do everything carefully.
- After this, it must be transferred to a dry sterilized glass jar.
- Pour the berries with boiling water, cover the container tightly with a lid and leave in this position for 20 minutes.
- After the time has elapsed, the water must be drained and syrup cooked on it. To do this, you need a basin or an enamel pot.
- Pour the boiling sugar syrup into the cans to the top.
- The beverage should cool to room temperature.
After that, it can be stored in the refrigerator and drink with pleasure. If such compote is brewed as a winter billet, then, without waiting for cooling, it must be immediately rolled up.
