Pyatigorsk firmly entered the history of the KVN as a city that produces excellent teams for the higher league. Fans of this game did not forget the sparkling and incendiary humor of the guys in checkered shirts and blue pants, acting under the name "Team Pyatigorsk" in 2000-2006. It was this KVN team - Pyatigorsk - who presented the show business to such stars as Elena Borshcheva and Semyon Slepakov. The team became the champion of the Major League in 2004, and then still won several cups and awards.

Not even five years have passed since Semen Slepakov and his team left the big stage of KVN, as in the Higher League a new team from the same city with a similar name appears - "Gorod Pyatigorsk". When the guys appeared on the First Channel for the first time, many expected to see participants of the former collective there. But the new KVN team "City of Pyatigorsk" changed its composition completely. It no longer had any of those who played before. The similarity is limited only to the city of the foundation of the collective and the name. They have nothing in common. Team "City of Pyatigorsk" - a completely unique gang, almost instantly won the love of viewers and viewers. Rarely, to which collective of cavemen from the first approach it is possible to reach the finale. The KVN team "The City of Pyatigorsk" is just one of those. In 2011, the guys reach the final and win an honorable third place there. In a year they share the second place with a team from St. Petersburg "Faculty of Journalism". And in 2014 the collective from the Caucasus is finally getting its deserved gold medals.

Team leader

The undisputed leader and ideological inspirer of the team is the captain, Olga Kartunkova. On the stage, she is a real tyrant. All the others are afraid of her. Any attempt to organize a riot against the boy-baa Olya falls into the tartaras. The main rebels in the team are Katya and Murat, for which they get the most from the captain. Olya has a friend and associate Tatiana, who usually does not say anything, but she does everything she can to support her fighting friend. However, all the confrontations played before the viewer, look very funny, cute and bright. In life, Olga Kartunkova is not at all like on stage. To achieve the naturalness of playing the villainous role Olga is helped by excellent acting skills.

Composition of the KVN team (Pyatigorsk)

It's time to name our heroes by name. In total, the KVN Pyatigorsk team consists of 13 actors. Of these, three girls, including the captain, and 10 young people. The company got the most colorful. The members of the collective differ in age, body build, height and emphasize these differences in clothing. A successful team of the KVN "Pyatigorsk City" did not immediately form its own composition. This is a team solyanka of three Pyatigorsk faculty teams. None of them managed to reach significant heights, but, combining the composition, the teams of KVN Pyatigorsk, which became a single entity, won all the Cavaena "gold".

Team achievements

In 2009, the team called "Noah's Ark" wins the Krasnodar KVN League. The following year, the guys won the First Moscow League. The composition of the KVN Pyatigorsk team was already slightly different. The name also changed.

In 2011 the KVN Pyatigorsk team makes its debut in the Major League and immediately reaches the finals.

A year later, in the final of KVN, the guys receive an honorable second place.

In 2013 the city of Pyatigorsk becomes the winner of the festival "The Voting KiViN" and receives the main award "KiViN in gold". Here, Oleh Kartankov is celebrated with a special presidential award "Amber KiViN".

In a year Pyatigorsk triumphantly wins in the final of KVN, having achieved by this moment all that can be got and won in the game.

Life after KVN

In 2014, after a triumphant victory, the team "City of Pyatigorsk" refused to continue to participate in the games of KVN. Now the winners successfully toured the cities of Russia and even abroad. Olga Kartunkova and several other people from this team are engaged in projects on the country's leading channels, and some participants remained in the KVN as editors of regional and first leagues.
