Club: it's for everyone!

Remember, as a child, my mother put in the corner with the words: "Think about your behavior!". Often, modern civilization puts a person in such conditions, under which he becomes dependent not only on various bad habits, but also on work, study, daily affairs and worries ... And now he simply can not stop and think, even if he is very tired. So, it's time to go to the club to relax, unwind, put your body in order or even spiritually enrich itself.

What is a club?

In general, the word club appeared long before the opening of the first club institution. And if you look at sources such as the dictionary of Dahl or Ozhegov, then, in addition to the modern meaning, they describe the Old Russian definition of the word.

  • A club is a globular thing, a round body, rolled up, prefabricated, composite. Examples: clouds of smoke, steam clubs, a tree club, a tangle of threads.

In spite of the fact that the word "club" in the modern sense has occurred all the same from the English "club", it is worth taking a closer look at the primordially Russian version. After all, if you think about it, the etymology of the old word "club" is quite similar to the modern concept. First, let's look at what the word means today.

  • A club is a place where people meet, united on some basis. So, people can combine common interests, national identity, professional characteristics.

And now let's remember one of the forms of club activities, such as "circle". And we can also cite such combinations as the "hockey club team", "football club" and many other examples that combine the ancient Russian word "club" and modern "club" that came from the west.

What are the clubs

Everyone needs rest from everyday affairs. Only here is the very idea of leisure for everyone different. One likes nightclubs and dances until the morning, another certainly needs a ski or bicycle, and the third just likes to read. Still, everyone can find their own club.

However, do not forget about the clubs that gather people not at all for recreation. These can be political, professional or social associations.

Clubs are needed, first of all, so that each person has the opportunity of self-realization in the circle of like-minded people. Also, club activities can be aimed at sharing experiences. To such associations are, above all, clubs of a professional orientation.

Clubs for leisure

  • Night club is a public institution of entertaining nature. For recreation in such an establishment, there is usually no need for permanent membership. Visiting a night club is always associated with high costs and, as a rule, occurs periodically, without being tied to a particular regime.
  • Clubs of interests are various kinds of associations in which people gather to discuss any topics related to the hobby. Such can be considered: scientific clubs (historical, mathematical and others), circles of needlework, association of collectors, motorists. Meetings in interest clubs can be both regular and periodic. As a rule, this type of leisure does not involve financial costs.

Professional organizations

  • A political club is an association of people united by common political convictions. Participants of such a club gather to discuss various projects with a view to their subsequent introduction into society. Members of a political club are usually not connected with the political parties operating in the state, but, on the contrary, are aimed at combating imperfections in the policies of people's representatives.
  • A business club is an association of people for professional membership with the purpose of sharing experiences. Here, new acquaintances are established, useful contacts are established, and educational activities will be held.
  • A sports club is an organization that unites professionals and sports fans. Members of the sports club, most often become permanent members of the club and discipline attend training in accordance with the established regime. Sports associations include: teams of team sports games, fitness centers, clubs of oriental martial arts and others. Visitors to amateur clubs must pay membership fees and trainers. Members of professional associations participate in competitions and sports, thus replenishing the treasury of the club.

Charity clubs

  • Social clubs are organizations for people of a certain social status. These include: clubs for pensioners, housewives and other layers of the population, national communities. Membership in such clubs, as a rule, does not oblige participants to anything.
  • Clubs for the protection of animals and the environment are exclusively charitable. These clubs usually consist of volunteers who are willing to provide gratuitous assistance in the protection of nature, as well as to promote the idea of charity.
