However, this does not mean that you should give up the desire to have a perfect photo. You can achieve the desired result with the help of retouching. To do this, you first need to know how to align your face in Photoshop.

Suppose there is a digital photograph of a woman or a man of mature age. The goal is to change the face, removing wrinkles and signs of withering of his skin. To achieve it, you must first create a foundation, eroding the original photo.

Use the face editor "Photoshop" and the following algorithm:

• The original digital image is duplicated by dragging it onto the new layer icon on the corresponding panel and assigning it a name, for example SB;
• Select a tool from the "Filter" - "Blur" and "Blur on the surface" (in the English version of Surfaceblur);
• Adjust the degree of blur by moving the sliders, set the desired values for the "Radius" and "Threshold" parameters.

Step 2

The SB layer needs to be hidden under the mask (layermask). To do this, press and hold the Option / Alt key. Simultaneously, click on the "Layer mask" icon at the bottom of the corresponding panel. Further:

• Paint the mask layer white, to cover those areas of the skin that need to be smoothed, gently bypassing the eyes, lips, etc.;
• To see if there are any gaps left, turn off the visibility of the background layer by clicking on the icon with the image of the eye at the bottom of the corresponding panel.

Step 3. Correction

Often, after the above steps, colors and tones may appear stained. To fix this, create a new layer. For this purpose, hold down the Option / Alt key and click on the corresponding icon (newlayer).

Note: in some versions of Adobe Photoshop, in order to perform a face change, you will have to select sequentially from the menu "Layer" - "New" - "Layer".

In the window that opens, New Layew is ticked under the Name line. This means that you want to use the previous layer to create the clipping mask.

Further:

• Using the Pipette tool, take a sample of colors from the blurred skin;
• Isolate the tool with the effect of a large soft brush and paint over the face with a very low degree of opacity to smooth out the colors and tones.

In addition, to make a correct face change, it will be necessary to give the skin a natural look. To do this, select a blurred layer by clicking on its thumbnail, and move the opacity slider to the left.

Step 4. Remove wrinkles

To rid your face of micro-furrows on the skin, you should create 2 layers: "Burn" and "Dodge". As before, use the Option / Alt combination and click - create a new layer that is automatically displayed at the bottom of the layers palette. In some versions of the application, to change the face of Photoshop, you need to perform the sequence of actions "Layer - New - Layer".

Then set the mode to "Soft Light" (SoftLight) and fill it with neutral color (Neutral Color). As a result, a new layer of 50% is painted over with gray paint.

Next, you need to save the mask and, using the tool "Dodge", to brighten the wrinkles.

Step 5. Create a natural skin texture

For further work, you will need to get another new gray overlay layer. First click on the corresponding icon. Then:

• Check the box next to "Use the previous layer to create a clipping mask";
• Select Overlap in the mode menu;
• Fill with neutral color (50% gray).

Step 6: Add noise

This term, with respect to digital images, means a certain defect arising from the imperfection of the camera. However, in a particular case, the imposition of noise makes it possible to give a retouched portrait of naturalness. To implement it you need:

• Select the "Texture" layer in the "Overlay" mode;
• Go to the "Noise" filter;
• Perform "filter - noise - add noise";
• Marking the fields "Uniform" and "Monochrome", add so much noise that the picture became similar to the frame of a three-dimensional film.

Usually the result of these actions turns out to be excessively clear, therefore it makes sense to reduce the sharpness of the changes that have arisen.

The ideal value for this filter depends on the size and resolution of the file. In fact, there are no hard and fast rules that apply to all images. Rely on your own, and sometimes do a test print to evaluate such subtle effects as noise.

Step 7. Embossing

To achieve a result close to ideal, you can simulate real skin. To do this, go to the "Stamping" filter in the "Styling" section.

If it turned out unnatural, then you can:

• Select "Edit";
• Use the "Loosen embossing" tool.

Step 8. End of retouching

To finish work on changing the face by retouching, you should decrease the opacity of the blurred layer a little, by about 70%. As a rule, if all the above actions are performed correctly, a very good result is obtained.

Change the shape of the face in "Photoshop"

Many women are complex because of the double chin. This or any other disadvantage of the face shape in the photos can be changed with Photoshop.

This is done very simply. Necessary:

• Open a photo of the person they are going to correct;
• Select the "Stamp" tool, able to copy and transfer any object to where it is necessary;
• In the settings panel find and activate the brush with minimal rigidity;
• Copy a fragment of the photo next to the face;
• Insert it using the "Stamp" tool on the same latitude, retreating a few millimeters towards the center of the physiognomy.

The last action is performed by pressing the left mouse button while holding down the Alt key.

In the manner described above, only one point on the face oval can be corrected, and the whole contour is corrected by "processing" the entire side of the face while holding the left mouse button. So do the other side.

If you only need to correct the chin, you must copy the area below it, move the mouse slightly up and insert the fragment into place.

How to remove the shine of the face in "Photoshop". Method one

In real life, traces of fat on the skin are removed with the help of wet napkins and dusting. But what to do when a greasy shine spoils the picture? It turns out that "Photoshop" helps to remove such a defect in two ways. The first uses the overlay mode. For this:

• Open a photo that needs processing;
• Open a list of parameters for the overlay;
• Select "Dimming", previously unblocking the layer (turn off the icon with a lock);
• Activate the tool "Pipette";
• Make a click on that part of the skin where there is no fatty shine;
• Choose the Brush tool;
• Set the parameter "Opacity" 30%, "Press" -50%, and rigidity - 0;
• Paint over this brush with fatty areas of the face, changing the size of the brush, where necessary.

Method of the second

Today, there are many programs for changing the face. However, "Photoshop" can replace them all, as it provides the user with a huge number of useful tools. For example, remove greasy shine with the help of "Patch". For this:

• Select the "Patch" tool;
• They select with it some brilliant section;
• Drag the selected area by holding the left mouse button of the computer mouse on the non-shiny area of the skin;
• The same is done with the rest of the area, which needs to be adjusted.

Correction of complexion

If you need a program to change the face, it's hard to find something better "Photoshop". In particular, it will help to correct skin color. The procedure is as follows:

• Open the image in Photoshop;
• Copy the photo (Ctrl + J):
• Create a new adjustment layer;
• Perform a selective color correction by clicking on the icon in the form of a semi-colored circle;
• In the "Selective color correction" window, select red and reduce the blue indicator;
• Add a purple tint in such a way that the skin of the face becomes slightly reddish;
• Add black for brightness;
• Adjust the same color values in the tab with yellow color.

After applying the editor of the person "Photoshop" by the algorithm described above, the healthy color of the face is obtained. However, the hair and background become reddish.

Return the original color to them using a black brush. She needs to draw those areas where you want to remove the red color, namely, hair and background. In this case, you need to remain on the mask of the layer. Further:

• Create a new adjustment layer, which can be named "Levels";
• To remove the brightness of the face, move the right slider on the bottom toolbar to the left.

It remains to carry out color correction of the eyes through the application for changing the face of "Photoshop".

To do this, create a new layer "Color balance" and add a blue color.

• Invert the layer mask using the Ctrl + I combination;
• With a brush of white I draw the iris of the first one, and then, the second eye;
• Create a new adjustment layer and darken the image;
• Invert the mask and paint the background with a brush;
• Load on the image texture, by executing the sequence of commands "File" - "Place";

• Add a mask to the layer and invert it into black;
