Carrie Henne: Biography

One of the American actresses, Carrie Henne ("Aliens" - a film that made her famous), became famous for the only played role. At that time she was only nine years old.

Childhood

Carrie Henne was born May 7, 1976 in the US, in Florida, in Panama City. Her father served in the US Air Force. Because of the service of the head of the family, they had to move. Thus, in the mid-eighties, Carrie was taken to England. There she studied at Lakenhiaf. And in her spare time she starred in The Strangers.

Henn has his own older brother, Christopher. He is older than her for 2 years. Brother Carrie also starred in the movie "Aliens" and played in her brother. Christopher was very attached to his sister, accompanied her everywhere and even on samples. The directors noticed this and offered him a role in the film. In ordinary life, he later worked as an executive officer.

Education

Carrie Henne graduated from the regular high school in California, in Etwater. Then she entered the Stanlosaus University of Turlock. She graduated with a high degree (in the field of free sciences) in the summer of 2000.

Career in cinema

The girl got to shoot a movie when she was only 9 years old. On that day, which became fatal for her, she, as usual, had dinner in the school canteen. Suddenly a woman came into the room and gathered children for a picture. It was Sarah Jackson from the Pinewood film studio, a casting agent. The woman was looking for a suitable girl for the role of R. Jordan.

Sarah has bypassed all the local regional schools, but she did not find the right candidate. One of the main requirements was a good speech with a pure American accent. The select committee immediately drew attention to Carrie, although the girl did not have any acting experience at all. Carrie Henne has never even played in school plays.

But the commission has already been burned by having schoolchildren having acting experience. Their smiles during the audition did not match the upcoming role and the script, as the heroine had to experience a huge stress. Carrie's only acted naturally and exactly as was necessary for the selection committee. Henne was able to convey the state of mind of the heroine excellently.

Currie was also appreciated by the casting directors: Hurd and James Cameron. The first meeting between Henn and Sigourney Weaver was easy and a close contact was established between them. As a result, Carrie received the role of Newt (the film "Alien").

Shooting

Before the shooting, the girl's parents were very worried about her psyche, worried that she would overtake the impartial behind-the-scenes obscene jargon of actors who played the role of paratroopers. She later recalled that she often encountered such vocabulary in school. Her parents, agreeing to the shooting of her daughter, demanded that the girl was not charged with very complex scenes. Therefore, for Henn was taken two doublers. They substituted it in dangerous or very difficult cases. But such shots were very rare, and almost all the tricks Carrie performed independently.

For a more realistic adult cast of actors before the shooting military training. And the young actress Carrie Henne, with the requisite doll in her hands, voluntarily ran with them, trying to repeat not only gymnastics, but also movements. So she felt herself part of the team.

Even before the filming began, Cameron showed the girl a dummy of the Alien. But Carrie seemed even funny. And then everyone on the set unsuccessfully tried to scare Henne with this creature. But she perceived Strangers, like ordinary large plastic dolls.

Carrie's favorite scene is the one where she rolled down the air intake, as it looked like water slides, and she landed on soft mats. And since the young actress could not roll, this scene was shot six times. But the moment when Carrie stood on her chest in the water, was unpleasant. She warmed up sometimes enough that Henn had to get out for a while.

Another favorite scene of the girl is when Ripley wipes her face with a rag. It was hard for Henne to shoot when Newt was released from the cocoon. To do this, Carrie was first coated with slime so as not to be struck with fiber-reinforced fibers resembling frozen resin. The scene was filmed immediately, there was no take, and Sigourney Weaver severely wounded her hands, freeing the girl. But there was not a scratch on Carrie Henne.

In the last weeks of filming, the main characters were the heroines Sigourney Weaver and Hell. Therefore, the days were very tense. But Carrie was supported by her parents and brother, who were always present on the set. A husband came to Sigourney with flowers. But the scenes required a full sense of loneliness, and the constant presence of relatives did not contribute to this. But Carrie was able to display the necessary emotions, and even feel abandoned.

When the shooting of the film was over, Sigourney presented the girl with a silver frame with a photo on which they were depicted only together. And since then she is standing by Carrie in the room.

Work experience

Carrie Henne worked as a young man in Merced, in the corporation Costco. After changing jobs, and now she is a schoolteacher. To the world of cinema is no longer relevant, with the exception of attending various events that are dedicated to the "Alien". But to correspond with Sigourney Weaver Carrie continues to this day.

Personal life

The girl in 2005 married Nathan Kutcher, his classmate. He, like Henne, had a high degree, but only in the field of judicial justice. To date, Carrie still continues to live in Ettor.

Awards: Saturn Prize

In the world of cinema she got by accident. But, having played her only role, she became famous all over the world. However, after the "Aliens" she no longer played even in theatrical performances and stated that she was not going to return to the cinema. Nevertheless, for the role in the film "Alien" she was awarded the prize "Saturn", in the nomination "Best Young Actor (Actress)". In the same year, a little later, Henne was nominated for the Young Artist Awards. But at this point in her career in the movie, Carrie made a point.
