Cannon fat: how to apply

The paint and varnish covering of the car is exposed to constant influence of a dust, a moisture, water, small pebbles and an ultraviolet. Over time, varnish and paint are covered with microcracks, and the bottom - rust. In order for this to happen, humanity has invented special protective polishes and lubricants. One of them is cannon bacon. How to apply it and what kind of lubricant is it? The answers to all these questions you will learn in the course of our today's article.

Varieties

In total, several types of materials are used for the preservation of the exterior parts of the car body:

  • Mastics.

  • Film-forming inhibited petroleum compositions.

  • Preservative oils.

  • Plastic lubricants.

The latter type is just cannon fodder. It is applied to the metal surface of the car with a small layer 5 mm thick. After treatment of the body with such a means, the machine becomes less vulnerable to water, moisture, salt and other deposits, providing conservation properties.

Characteristic

Cannon fat is a conservation grease that is used to protect steel surfaces from corrosion. The composition of this product includes oil oil, thickened with ceresin and petrolatum. In its appearance, lubricant PVK is a yellow-brown ointment. This substance also has a high density and stickiness.

Application area

As we said earlier, cannon lard has good anti-corrosion properties. Due to such abilities it is used practically in all branches of household and economy, including for protection of the bottom and body of the car. It is applied to metal products of all sizes and shapes.

In its characteristics cannon lard is an excellent preservative for both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Of course, under the direct influence of the sun, precipitation and constant temperature changes, this substance loses its properties with time. However, in comparison with its analogs, it is the most effective means and is able to protect the metal even under the most severe and extreme conditions.

As practice shows, canola lard protects the body from the negative effects of the environment for 3-10 years, depending on the intensity of vehicle operation. At the same time, it remains effective even at an air temperature of -50 to +50 degrees Celsius. And only in rare cases, it can form cracks.

By the way, cannon lard is not soluble in water, so even if it is repeatedly washed it remains as effective as it was initially when applied.

Cannon fat - how to apply?

Many motorists use one instruction for application. According to her, cannon fat should be heated up to forty degrees Celsius in any convenient way (it is better to do it on an electric stove) and to treat the surface of the metal with a paint brush. It seems that everything is simple, but we should not forget about security measures.

Firstly, when handling the car with this lubricant, do not let the product get on the skin. To maximally protect your hands from the negative effects of this substance, you should wear a pair of rubber medical gloves.
These are on sale in any pharmacy in the city. Secondly, you should avoid finding this lubricant in direct sunlight in the tank, in order to prevent self-ignition. Well, if the substance has fallen on the floor or on clothes, you need to thoroughly wipe the place with a dry rag. If necessary, you can apply sand.

Advantages of using the lubricant "Cannon fat"

Reviews of car owners note the high efficiency of using this type of lubricant. This substance has high adhesion properties, and is also not afraid of the effects of water. And since the bottom of the car and the wheel arches are constantly exposed to the negative effects of dust and moisture, canola fat is an excellent option to prolong the life of the car body and protect it from corrosion. This lubricant also keeps well on inclined surfaces, that is, it can be applied even in the most inaccessible places.

This substance almost never evaporates and does not oxidize, which guarantees reliable protection of metal for long years of operation. Well, of course, the lubricant PVK known for its conservative characteristics, which we talked about at the beginning of the article. Processing with canola bacon is a reliable way to keep the car from rusting!

Thus, cannon lard reliably protects the metal parts of the car from corrosion and decay, has a long service life, and also prevents the formation of new rusts, thereby significantly prolonging the service life of the elements and components of the vehicle.

How much is the substance stored?

It should be noted that the lubrication of PVC not only keeps perfectly and protects the metal for decades, but it can also be stored in containers from 5 to 10 years, depending on the temperature and storage conditions. This allows you to use cannon lard almost at any time and, if necessary, apply additional layers to the metal every year.

Cost

On average, the price of lubricating PVC is relatively small. For example, for a 39-kilogram drum of canola fat will have to lay out about 2.5 thousand rubles. True, with such quantity of lubricant it is possible to process at least a couple of saddle tractors, not to mention cars. There are smaller containers - the cost for them varies from 400 to 1.5 thousand rubles, depending on the manufacturer and the volume of the drum itself.

Conclusion

As you can see, canola lard is an excellent preservative that can reliably protect the body parts and the frame of your car from the negative effects of corrosion. Due to its properties, this lubricant holds perfectly even in the most vulnerable places for water and moisture. Having treated the car with cannon lard once, you will forget about corrosion for at least the next 2-5 (or even 10) years.

So, we found out all the properties and features of such a substance as PVC grease, and knots, how the car is processed by cannon fats.
